An image processor includes: an image sensor which outputs a short exposure image and a long exposure image; a sensor controller which controls first and second exposure sensitivities; a motion blending ratio calculator which calculates a motion blending ratio based on a motion amount of a subject; a motion-adapted image synthesizer which generates a motion-adapted image based on the motion blending ratio; and an HDR image synthesizer which synthesizes the motion-adapted image and the short exposure image, to generate an HDR image. The sensor controller controls the first exposure sensitivity: so that the first exposure time changes from increasing to constant and the first sensor gain changes from constant to increasing, when the brightness of the subject decreases from a first subject brightness; and so that the first exposure time changes to increasing and the first sensor gain changes to constant, when the brightness decreases from a second subject brightness.

Provided is a digital mirror apparatus including: a camera that captures an image of a user; a display having a display surface located at a position that allows the user to visually identify the display; a controller; a memory; and a control panel operable by the user, wherein the controller: horizontally flips a live image of the user that is being captured by the camera to generate a mirror image; reads a reference image to be compared with the mirror image; superimposes the reference image on the mirror image to display on the display a display image in a region of the display in which the reference image and the mirror image overlap one another; and stores one frame of the live image in the memory, based on an operation performed on the control panel by the user while the display image is displayed on the display.

Digital mirror apparatus

An imaging-observation apparatus according to the present disclosure includes: an image capturing section that shoots a subject under multiple different shooting optical conditions at the same time and sequentially generates a plurality of images under those multiple different shooting optical conditions; a display control section that accepts an operator's input; an image synthesizing section that synthesizes together the plurality of images in accordance with the input to the display control section at a synthesis ratio specified by the input and sequentially generates synthetic images one after another; and a display section that presents the synthetic images.

Image sensor with designatable read-out range

An image pickup section includes the number of pixels in the vertical direction which is decreased one-half less than the number of scan lines. A signal containing image components is outputted every one horizontal line. The horizontal line containing the image components in an odd field is offset from that in an even field by one line. In both the odd and even fields, leach of these image signals are multiplexed on a signal delayed by one horizontal scan period to form an image signal which contains the same image components for each two horizontal lines. This image signal is then displayed in the non-interlace manner.
