An operating device of a human-powered vehicle comprises a clamp and an operating structure. The clamp is mountable to the human-powered vehicle. The operating structure is configured to receive a user input operation. The operating structure is pivotally coupled to the clamp about a base pivot axis. The operating structure is pivotable relative to the clamp about the base pivot axis between a closed position and an open position. At least one of the clamp and the operating structure define a holder space in which an electric power source is to be provided in a closed state where the operating structure is in the closed position. The clamp and the operating structure allows the electric power source to be accessed in an open state where the operating structure is in the open position.

A hydraulic operating device comprises a base member, an operating member, a piston, and a mounting member. The base member includes a cylinder bore, a first hose-attachment hole, and a second hose-attachment hole. The first hose-attachment hole is configured to be in fluid communication with the cylinder bore. The second hose-attachment hole is configured to be in fluid communication with the cylinder bore. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base member about a pivot axis. The mounting member is configured to couple the base member to a handlebar. The mounting member includes a mount opening through which the handlebar is to extend. The hydraulic brake operating unit is mounted to the main support body. The hydraulic brake operating unit has a piston operated in response to operation of the first operating member between a rest position to an operated position. The additional operating unit is mounted to the main support body. The second operating member is configured to actuate the additional operating unit.

A bicycle operating device is basically provided with a support structure, a first release member, a second release member and a select member. The first release member is movably supported on the support structure between a first non-releasing position and a first releasing position. The second release member is movably supported on the support structure between a second non-releasing position and a second releasing position. The select member is movably supported on the support structure between at least a first select position and a second select position. The select member permits movement of the first release member and prevents movement of the second release member while the select member is in the first select position. The select member permits movement of the second release member and prevents movement of the first release member while the select member is in the second select position.

A bicycle hydraulic operating device is basically provided with a base member, a piston, an operating member and a hydraulic reservoir. The base member includes a cylinder bore. The piston is movably disposed in the cylinder bore. The operating member is coupled to the piston to move the piston within the cylinder bore. The hydraulic reservoir includes a hydraulic reservoir tank and a reservoir lid. The hydraulic reservoir is provided on the base member and is fluidly connected to the cylinder bore by a fluid passage. At least part of one of the base member and the hydraulic reservoir includes a fluid inspection portion making visually perceptible therethrough at least a portion of a hydraulic fluid flow path that includes the hydraulic reservoir, the cylinder bore and the fluid passage.

Bicycle hydraulic operating device

A bicycle operating device comprises a base member, an operating structure, and a support plate. The operating structure includes a rotatable member rotatable relative to the base member about a rotational axis to control a bicycle component. The operating structure includes a first axial end and a second axial end. The first axial end is secured to the base member. The second axial end is opposite to the first axial end along the rotational axis. The support plate is attached to the second axial end to be movable relative to the base member and contactable with the base member.

A bicycle component positioning device includes a wire takeup member, a positioning member, first and second maintaining members and a release member. The positioning member rotates with the wire takeup member between a plurality of predetermined positions. The first maintaining member moves between a position to maintain the positioning member in one of the predetermined positions and a position to release the positioning member. The second maintaining member moves between a position to maintain the positioning member in one of the predetermined positions and a position to release the positioning member. The release member moves in the first direction to selectively move the first maintaining member between its two positions, and to selectively move the second maintaining member between its two positions.
