Provided are a decorative sheet having stretchability and heat resistance and an in-mold forming method capable of forming in-mold injection formed products having excellent decorative image. A decorative sheet includes an image layer and an image running prevention region in order on a resin sheet, in which the image layer is a cured image of an ink composition containing (a) a polymerizable compound, (b) a polymerization initiator, and (c) a coloring agent; the image running prevention region is a cured layer of a composition for running prevention containing (a) a polymerizable compound, and (b) a polymerization initiator; and the image running prevention region has superior heat resistance to the image layer, and an injection forming method using the decorative sheet.

Decorative sheet and in-mold forming method

A decorative sheet includes a resin substrate, and an image layer that includes a fixed-ink image formed of an ink composition containing (a) a pigment, (b) polymer particles, (c) a water-soluble organic solvent, and (d) water, on the resin substrate. When a tensile test is performed on the decorative sheet in an atmosphere at 180&#xb0; C., a stretching rate thereof that is defined as below is 150% or higher. The invention provides an image forming method having at least: applying, onto a recording medium, an ink composition containing at least a water-soluble organic solvent, a pigment, a polymer particle and water; and removing at least a part of the water-soluble organic solvent from the ink composition on the recording medium. The water-soluble organic solvent contains at least a water-soluble organic solvent having a vapor pressure of less than 10 Pa at 20&#xb0; C., a boiling temperature of less than 260&#xb0; C., and an SP value of less than 25, at a content of 30 mass % or more with respect to the total water-soluble organic solvent content of the ink composition.

Image forming method

The present invention provides an ink set including an ink composition and a maintenance liquid that removes from a head nozzle surface a substance that is derived from the ink composition and that adheres to the head nozzle surface, the ink composition including a pigment coated with a water-insoluble polymer formed by copolymerizing a monomer mixture including a styrene macromer; polymer particles; a water-soluble organic solvent; and water.

There is provided an ink set including an aqueous ink composition and a maintenance liquid. The ink set for inkjet recording includes: a water-based ink containing pigment particles and 10 to 25 wt % of water-soluble high-boiling-point organic solvent having an SP value of not higher than 30; and a treatment liquid containing a fluidity reducing agent which reduces fluidity of the pigment particles by making contact with the water-based ink, and 10 to 25 wt % of water-soluble high-boiling-point organic solvent having an SP value of not higher than 30.

The present invention provides a maintenance liquid for inkjet recording including at least water, an organic solvent, a basic compound and an acidic compound, and having pH of from 6.0 to 8.5.

Inkjet recording liquid

The invention provides an ink set having at least: a magenta ink containing at least a pigment; and a cyan ink containing at least a pigment. A ratio of M/C, in which M is the concentration of the pigment in the magenta ink, and C is the concentration of the pigment in the cyan ink, is 1.6 or more. A ratio of S2/S1, in which S2 is the solid content of an ink that has the largest solid content among the inks included in the ink set, and S1 is the solid content of an ink that has the smallest solid content among the inks included in the ink set, is 1.2 or less. The invention further provides an image forming method having applying the inks of the ink set onto a recording medium.

The present invention provides an image forming method including jetting an ink composition containing a pigment, a volatile water-soluble organic solvent, polymer particles and water, from a heated nozzle plate of an inkjet head onto a recording medium; and applying a maintenance liquid on a nozzle surface of the nozzle plate after jetting.

The invention provides an image forming method including at least: applying, onto a recording medium, an ink composition containing at least a water-soluble solvent, a pigment, a polymer particle and water; and removing at least a part of the volatile solvent from the ink composition on the recording medium. Herein, the water-soluble solvent contains at least a volatile water-soluble solvent having an SP value of 27.5 or more at an amount of 30 mass % thereof.
