An inductor component comprising a base body; a coil on the base body and wound helically along an axis; and first and second external electrodes disposed on the base body and connected electrically to the coil. The base body includes a substrate having first and second main surfaces that face each other; and an insulating layer on the first main surface. The coil includes first and second coil wires respectively disposed on the first and second main surfaces and covered with the insulating layer; and first and second through wires extending through the substrate from the first main surface to the second main surface and opposite to each other with respect to the axis. The first coil wire, the first through wire, the second coil wire, and the second through wire are connected in the mentioned order, to make up at least a part of the helical.

Inductor component

An inductor component that causes no electric current to be flowed between external terminals until the inductor component is mounted on a substrate, for example, and includes an element body and an inductor wire that extends in the inside of the element body. To the inductor wire, a first vertical wire is connected. The top surface of the first vertical wire is exposed from the principal surface of the element body. On the top surface of the first vertical wire, a first external terminal is stacked. The first external terminal has a first conducting portion and a first insulating portion. The first conducting portion is insulated from the outside of the element body by the first insulating portion.

A compact inductor component includes an element body having a principal surface. A first inductor wire and a second inductor wire extend in parallel with the principal surface in the element body. The number of turns of the second inductor wire is 0.25. The first inductor wire includes a first wire main body extending linearly. The second inductor wire includes a second wire main body extending linearly. The wire length of the second wire main body in the second inductor wire is 1.2 times or more the wire length of the first wire main body in the first inductor wire.

An inductor component includes an element body, a coil on the body and spirally wound along an axis, first and second external electrodes electrically connected to the coil, and first and second through wirings which penetrate a substrate of the element body between main surfaces. The first coil wirings and through wirings, and the second coil wirings and through wirings, are connected as follows. With respect to two of the first through wirings adjacent to each other in a direction of the axis, on the first main surface, a relationship between a radius of an equivalent circle diameter of an end surface of each of the first through wirings and a minimum distance between end surfaces of the two first through wirings is satisfied, and with respect to two of the second through wirings adjacent to each other in the direction of the axis, a similar relationship is satisfied.

Inductor component and mounting structure of inductor component

A body of an inductor component includes a magnetic layer, a first insulating resin, a second insulating resin, and an insulating layer. First inductor wiring extends along a principal surface of the body, inside the magnetic layer. First vertical wiring is connected to an upper surface of a first pad of the first inductor wiring. An upper surface of the first vertical wiring is exposed without being obstructed by the principal surface. A first outer terminal is connected to the upper surface of the first vertical wiring and protrudes from the principal surface upward in a thickness direction. The first outer terminal includes a metal layer covering the upper surface of the first vertical wiring and a solder portion on an upper surface of the metal layer. An upper portion including a protruding distal end of the first outer terminal is the solder portion made of a tin alloy.

An inductor component includes an element body having a main surface, a coil disposed in the element body, and extending along the main surface, and a first vertical wiring and a second vertical wiring provided in the element body such that respective end surfaces thereof are exposed from the main surface of the element body, and connected to respective ends of the coil. The coil has a coil wiring portion having a first end portion and a second end portion, and extending along a circumferential direction, with the number of turns equal to or less than 1, a first pad portion that is a portion to which the first vertical wiring is connected and that is connected to the first end portion, and a second pad portion that is a portion to which the second vertical wiring is connected and that is connected to the second end portion.

Inductor component and mounting component

A passive component includes a body portion having a first main surface and a passive element at least a part of which is provided inside the body portion. The first main surface at least partially includes a flat surface made of an inorganic substance and having a surface roughness of equal to or less than 1/1000 of a thickness of the body portion in a direction orthogonal to the first main surface or equal to or less than 10 nm.

Passive component, three-dimensional device, and method for manufacturing passive component

The inductor component includes a first magnetic layer, an inductor wiring line laminated on a main face of the first magnetic layer, a second magnetic layer disposed in the same layer as the inductor wiring line, a third magnetic layer disposed on a main face of the inductor wiring line and the second magnetic layer on a side opposite to the first magnetic layer, and an insulation layer being a non-magnetic material in contact with part of a surface of the inductor wiring line. The entire face of the surface of the inductor wiring line on the first magnetic layer side is in contact with the first magnetic layer, and a face of the surface of the inductor wiring line on the second magnetic layer side is in contact with the insulation layer.

A coil component includes a main body made of a magnetic material, a linear inductor wiring conductor arranged in the main body, an electrically insulating pedestal having a top surface extending along the inductor wiring conductor in the main body and a pair of side surfaces each extending from both outer edges of the top surface in a direction intersecting the top surface, and a conductive seed layer provided over an entire region of at least a region sandwiched between the top surface of the pedestal and the inductor wiring conductor. When a width dimension of a surface of the inductor wiring conductor in contact with the seed layer is defined as a first width dimension and a width dimension of the seed layer is defined as a second width dimension, the second width dimension is larger than the first width dimension.

Coil component and method of manufacturing the same

The main face of an element body of an inductor component has a two-fold symmetrical shape with respect to the geometric center of the main face. First and second inductor wires extend inside the element body. Four terminal portions, each having a terminal portion exposed from the main face, are in the element body, two of the which are first external terminals, one a second external terminal, and one a dummy portion which is a specific dummy portion. The main face is divided into four congruent imaginary regions with one terminal portion in each. The terminal portion in the first imaginary region, that is an imaginary region at a two-fold symmetrical position around the geometric center with respect to the fourth imaginary region having the specific dummy portion, is a specific terminal portion. The shapes of the specific dummy and terminal portions are different from each other.

An inductor component comprising an element body including a first and second magnetic layers that contain a metal magnetic powder and that are laminated along a first direction, a spiral wiring disposed between the first and second magnetic layers, a vertical wiring connected to the spiral wiring and extending in the first direction to penetrate the element body and an external terminal connected to the vertical wiring and exposed on a first principal surface of the element body orthogonal to the first direction. The spiral wiring is disposed on a first plane orthogonal to the first direction and includes a pad part to which the vertical wiring is connected, a spiral part extending from the pad part on the first plane, and a lead-out part extending from the pad part on the first plane and exposed from a side surface of the element body parallel to the first direction.

Inductor component and method of manufacturing inductor component

A passive component includes an inorganic substrate having a first main surface and a second main surface, which are opposed to each other, and contains a semiconductor material; and a passive element portion on the first main surface of the inorganic substrate so as to be in contact with the first main surface. When a cross section in a plane that passes through a center of gravity in a whole of the first main surface and is orthogonal to the first main surface is defined as a first cross section, in the first cross section, the inorganic substrate has a first side surface and a second side surface, which are connected with the first main surface and opposed to each other, and each of line roughness of the first side surface and line roughness of the second side surface is larger than line roughness of the first main surface.

Passive component and package component

An electronic component includes a composite body containing resin and magnetic metal particles, a first metal film provided on an outer surface of the composite body, and a second metal film provided on the first metal film. At least one of the magnetic metal particles is exposed at a contact surface of the composite body that is in contact with the first metal film. The first metal film is in contact with an exposed surface of the at least one of the magnetic metal particles exposed from the contact surface. The film thickness of the first metal film on the exposed surface is 2.9 μm or more.

Electronic component and method for manufacturing the same

A DC/DC converter component has a reduced mounting area and includes an inductor component; a semiconductor integrated circuit including a switch circuit connected to the inductor component, and a control circuit that controls the switch circuit; and a package substrate, to which the semiconductor integrated circuit is mounted, having a mounting face that opposes an other substrate when the package substrate is mounted to the other substrate. The inductor component includes an element body, and a plurality of inductor wiring lines, each extending in the element body and in parallel with a main face of the element body. A value of inductance of a second inductor wiring line is 10% or more greater than a value of inductance of a first inductor wiring line. The inductor component has a dimension equal to or less than 0.25 millimeters in a thickness direction, and is mounted to the package substrate.

DC/DC converter component

An inductor component includes a main body including a magnetic layer, an inductor wiring disposed in the main body, and vertical wirings each of which is connected to the inductor wiring and each of which extends from a portion in which the vertical wiring and the inductor wiring are connected to each other to a first main surface of the main body. A second main surface of the main body is located on the side of the inductor wiring that is opposite to the side of the inductor wiring on which the first main surface is located. The first main surface is covered with a first outer layer having an insulating property, and the second main surface is covered with a second outer surface having an insulating property. The first outer layer and the second outer layer each contain a colorant.
