The present invention provides a liquid detergent composition, containing (a) 4 to 50% by mass of a mixture containing specific polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfates represented by formula (1) having average addition mole numbers m and n of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide satisfying 0&#x3c;m&#x3c;1 and 0&#x3c;n&#x2266;3, respectively; (b) 1 to 30% by mass of an amine oxide surfactant having a hydrocarbon group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms and an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or a hydroxyalkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; a phase stabilizer selected from hydrotrope agents and organic solvents; and water, wherein a mass ratio of (a)/(b) is 20/1 to 1/1.

Liquid detergent composition

Provided is a hair cleansing composition containing (A) an amphipathic amide lipid, (B) an anionic surfactant and (C) an organic or inorganic acid, or a salt thereof, and having a pH of from 1 to 4.5 when diluted with water to 20 times the weight. The hair cleansing composition of the present invention has advantages including protecting hair from physical or chemical stimulation and preventing split ends or breakage of hair without impairing the cleansing ability and feeling upon use, imparting hair with a pleasant feeling to the touch and moisture retention properties such as natural smoothness, moist feeling, and suppleness which healthy hair inherently possesses, and has excellent stability.

Hair cosmetic composition

Provided is a hair cosmetic composition containing (A) from 0.001 to 10 wt. % of an amphipathic amide lipid, and (B): from 0.05 to 10 wt. % of a dialkyl ether or ethylene glycol dialkyl ether with an alkyl group having from 18 to 22 carbon atoms, or an ethylene glycol monofatty acid ester, ethylene glycol difatty acid ester, fatty acid monoethanolamide or acylated &#x3b2;-alanine with an acyl group having from 18 to 22 carbon atoms. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention for example, protects the hair from physical or chemical stimulation, prevents appearance of split ends and broken hair, imparts natural smoothness, moist feeling, resilience and strength, and moisture retention property to the hair after treatment (shampooing), and at the same time has excellent storage stability.

The present invention relates to a hair shampoo composition containing (A) an amphipathic amide lipid, and (B), from 5 to 30 wt. % of sulfate surfactants which are each represented by the formula: R&#x2014;O&#x2014;(CHO)&#x2014;SOM (wherein, R represents a Calkyl or alkenyl group, a stands for 0 or a positive integer, and M represents an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, or the like); are made of from 30 to 45 wt. % of a sulfate exhibiting a=0, from 18 to 27 wt. % of another sulfate exhibiting a=1, from 10 to 20 wt. % of a further sulfate exhibiting a=2, and the balance of further sulfates exhibiting a=3 or greater; and contain the sulfates exhibiting a=0 to 2 in an amount of 70 wt. % or greater based on the total sulfates. The hair shampoo composition of the present invention is able to for example have good foaming property, provide foam with good lubrication upon shampooing, have smooth feel upon rinsing, impart a pleasant feel such as gloss, manageability, resilience and strength to the hair after shampooing, and protect the hair from physical or chemical stimulation to make it resistant to damage.

Provided is a conditioner composition, which comprises a tertiary amine represented by the following formula (1): wherein, Rrepresents a linear or branched Calkyl or alkenyl group, Rand Rare the same or different and each represents a Calkyl group or a group -(AO)H (in which A represents a Calkylene group, and n stands for a number of from 1 to 6 with the proviso that n pieces of A are the same or different and are arranged in any order); or a salt thereof. The conditioner composition can impart fiber or hair with good suppleness and smoothness during wetting and after drying and is particularly excellent in imparting hair or fiber with smoothness after drying.

Provided is a conditioner composition, which comprises a tertiary amine represented by the following formula (1):wherein, Rrepresents a linear or branched Calkyl or alkenyl group, Rand Rare the same or different and each represents a Calkyl group or a group &#x2014;(AO)H (in which A represents a Calkylene group, and n stands for a number of from 1 to 6 with the proviso that n pieces of A are the same or different and are arranged in any order); or a salt thereof. The conditioner composition can impart fiber or hair with good suppleness and smoothness during wetting and after drying and is particularly excellent in imparting hair or fiber with smoothness after drying.

The present invention relates to a hair cuticle caring method or volume enhancing method, which comprises treating hair with a composition containing (A) a cationic surfactant and (B) an organic acid or salt thereof in a combination to give, when an aqueous solution containing 1 mM of each of the components is formed, 40 mN/m or less as the surface tension of the aqueous solution at 27&plusmn;0.5&deg; C. By the application of the above-described composition, the lift-up of the hair cuticle can be suppressed, the volume can be enhanced softly, moisturized but stickiness-free feeling is imparted and styling ease is improved.
