An image forming sheet is integrated with a release member, the image forming sheet can be separated from the release member, the image forming sheet includes an image layer before image formation, a stable peeling force when the image forming sheet is separated from the release member under conditions of a temperature of 25° C. and an angle of 30° is 1,000 mN/cm or less, and the dynamic coefficient of friction between the front and back surfaces of the release member is 0.3 or more and 0.9 or less.

A thermal transfer sheet including a dye layer and a transfer layer on a substrate. The transfer layer has a protective layer and an adhesive layer containing two or more resin components. One of the resin components is a copolymer of a reactive ultraviolet absorbing agent and an acrylic monomer. In the copolymer, the copolymerization ratio of the reactive ultraviolet absorbing agent is in the range of 10% or more and 50% or less on a molar ratio basis and the copolymerization ratio of the acrylic monomers is in the range of 50% or more and 90% or less on a molar ratio basis. The content of the copolymer of the reactive ultraviolet absorbing agent and the acrylic monomer is specified in the range of 50% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less on the basis of the total mass of the adhesive layer.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a thermal transfer sheet which can prevent a kick and a scumming, and can form a photographic tone color image of high quality with a continuous tone image by sublimation transfer, while expanding the range of choices for colorants to be included in a colorant layer; a coating liquid for colorant layer to be used for forming the colorant layer of this thermal transfer sheet; a method for manufacturing this thermal transfer sheet; and image forming method employing this thermal transfer sheet. The problem is solved by a thermal transfer sheet () in which at least a colorant layer () is layered on a substrate sheet (), wherein the colorant layer () contains a predetermined solvent, a colorant () dispersible in the predetermined solvent, a dispersant, and a binder resin, and the dispersant being one or more selected from the group consisting of polyether-based dispersants, graft type polymer dispersants, acryl-based block type polymer dispersants, urethane-based polymer dispersants and azo-based dispersants.

The present invention is to provide a thermal transfer sheet which is able to prevent a heat resistant slipping layer from transferring to a guide roller, etc., and which is able to prevent wrinkles when printing. Disclosed is a thermal transfer sheet including a substrate sheet, a thermal transfer layer disposed on one side of the substrate sheet, and a heat resistant slipping layer disposed on the other side of the substrate sheet via a primer layer, wherein the primer layer contains a cured product of a resin composition containing one or more kinds of resins selected from a urethane resin and a polyester resin and a compound having a functional group selected from an epoxy group, a silanol group and a hydrolyzable silyl group.

Provided is a protective layer transfer sheet which includes a protective layer, whereby it becomes possible to form an image on the protective layer set on a print without causing the abnormal transfer of a dye layer, the breakage of the dye layer and the like, and it also becomes possible to achieve a satisfactory level of plasticizer resistance of the print. The protective layer transfer sheet including a substrate and a protective layer peelably formed on the substrate, wherein the protective layer includes one or both of a cellulose ester having a number average molecular weight of not less than 15000 and not more than 30000 and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer having a number average molecular weight of not less than 15000 and not more than 30000, and a cellulose ester having a number average molecular weight of not more than 7000.

The present invention relates to a process for producing D-lactic acid and L-lactamide, comprising allowing a culture broth of a microorganism capable of asymmetric hydrolysis of DL-lactamide belonging to the genus Alcaligenes, Pseudomonas, Agrobacterium, Brevibacterium, Acinetobacter, Corynebacterium, Enterobacter, Micrococcus or Rhodococcus, the microorganism itself, a material obtained therefrom or an immobilized material thereof to act on DL-lactamide, and recovering the resulting D-lactic acid and the remaining L-lactamide. The present invention enables sufficient production of D-lactic acid and L-lactamide by the present microorganism.

Process for producing D-lactic acid and L-lactamide

An L-proline derivative represented by: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.2 represents a lower alkyl group is prepared by reacting L-proline with a D-.alpha.-alkyl-.beta.-acylthiopropionic acid halide, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 represents an acyl group, X represents a halogen atom and R.sub.2 has the same meaning as defined above. The halide is added to an aqueous medium containing L-proline and a condensation agent for deacidification. The halide and L-proline are reacted while the reaction temperature and pH are maintained at 12.degree. C. or lower and within a range of 10.5-11.5, whereby a compound represented by: ##STR3## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 have the same meanings as defined above is obtained. The resulting compound is then subjected to deacylation under strong alkaline conditions without being isolated from the reaction mixture, thereby yielding the target L-proline derivative.
