This specification discloses an ophthalmologic apparatus for executing an eye examination on an eye to be examined. The ophthalmologic apparatus is provided with an eye examination unit, an alignment drive system for driving the eye examination unit to thereby execute the alignment between the eye examination unit and the eye to be examined, a time measuring portion, and a control system for causing the alignment drive system to drive the eye examination unit on the basis of the output of the time measuring portion so as to return the eye examination unit to an eye examination waiting position.

Ophthalmologic apparatus

An ophthalmologic apparatus can measure the eye axis length of an eye to be examined and other information of the eye to be examined (for example, the cornea refractive power). In the case of the measurement of the eye axis length, when moving a detecting terminal itself by driving means, the driving means is controlled so as to slow down the speed of movement of the detecting terminal when the detecting terminal comes near the cornea of the eye to be examined.

A supersonic ophthalmic measuring apparatus includes a supersonic probe for contacting the cornea of an eye to be examined. A calculator for calculating the amount of depression of the cornea of the eye to be examined caused by the supersonic probe, and a corrector for correcting the result of the measurement of the eye axis length of the eye to be examined by the supersonic probe by the amount of depression.

Supersonic ophthalmic measuring apparatus

An ophthalmic measuring apparatus has an ultrasonic detector for measuring the length of a predetermined region of an eye to be examined, a device provided with a center axis coaxial with the center axis of the vibrator of the ultrasonic detector and projecting an index mark onto the cornea of the eye to be examined, and an imaging optical system for forming the corneal reflection image of the index mark on a predetermined image plane to measure the shape of the cornea.
