An angle width estimation device is configured in such a way as to include: a beam forming unit to acquire one reception array signal of a reflected wave from a target to be observed, and form, from the one reception array signal, a plurality of null beams having nulls in an arrival direction of the reflected wave, and having null widths which are widths of the nulls and different from each other; and an angle width estimating unit to compare powers of the plurality of null beams formed by the beam forming unit with each other, and estimate a null width indicating an angle width of the reflected wave on the basis of a comparison result of the powers.

A target distance estimation device includes: a multipath composite wave signal generation unit that generates a multipath composite wave signal that is a simulation signal of a composite wave of a direct wave and a multipath wave received by a reception antenna in a case where a provisional target distance, which is a provisional target distance from a radio source to a radio wave detection device, is set; and a target distance estimation unit that estimates a target distance from the radio wave detection device to the radio source on the basis of a correlation between the reception signals and the multipath composite wave signal generated by the multipath composite wave signal generation unit.

An adaptive array antenna system receives a desired wave arriving through K time slots each allocated to one of K transmitting stations. In the adaptive array antenna system, an adaptive control device includes a correlation matrix calculating unit, a correlation matrix storing unit, an inverse matrix calculating unit, and a weighting factor calculating unit. The inverse matrix calculating unit acquires a correlation matrix having been calculated at previous time for another time slot other than the current time slot from the correlation matrix storing unit, regards the acquired correlation matrix as an interference noise correlation matrix, and calculates an inverse matrix of the interference noise correlation matrix. The weighting factor calculating unit calculates values of a plurality of weighting factors used by a beamforming unit using the inverse matrix.
