An object of the present invention is to provide an ink jet recording medium which exhibits excellent adhesiveness with respect to an ink and has excellent scratch resistance and in which density unevenness at the time of printing is suppressed, a method for manufacturing the ink jet recording medium, a printed material using the ink jet recording medium, a method for manufacturing the printed material, ornamental glass, and a roll. An ink jet recording medium of the present invention has a support and an ink receiving layer on at least one surface of the support, in which the ink receiving layer is a cured layer of a composition containing a radical polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator, and a compound represented by Formula C-1.

Provided is an inkjet recording sheet which includes a transparent support and an ink receiving layer disposed on one surface of the transparent support, in which the ink receiving layer is a layer formed by curing a composition containing at least a polymerization initiator and a polymerizable compound. When a printed article and ornamental glass are manufactured by forming an image portion by an inkjet method, the inkjet recording sheet is excellent in both the ink adhesiveness and the scratch resistance of the ink receiving layer including the image portion and a non-image portion. Also provided is a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording sheet, a printed article, a method for manufacturing a printed article, and ornamental glass.

The method for producing an optical film includes a step of preparing a first coating liquid containing a certain amount of light-transmitting particles, a resin, and a solvent, a second coating liquid containing an amount less than the certain amount of light-transmitting particles, a resin, and a solvent, or not containing the light-transmitting particles but containing a resin and a solvent; a step of coating the second coating liquid and the first coating liquid in this order from the support side on a traveling band-shaped support in the form of a multilayer to form a second coating film and a first coating film; a step of transferring the light-transmitting particles in the first coating film to the side of the second coating film while drying the first coating film and the second coating film.
