An ultraviolet irradiation unit () is provided with an ultraviolet irradiation device () and an ink mist sucking and removing device (). The ink mist sucking and removing device () includes a blower fan (), an air filter () and a device cover () for forming an air flow passage whose one end is provided with a suction port () located in an upper vicinity of a printing object () and whose another end is provided with a ventilation port () facing an LED drive circuit board (). Air in the upper vicinity of a printing object () is sucked through the suction port () by the blower fan (), ink mist included in the air is removed by the air filter (), and cleaned air discharged through the ventilation port () is blown to an LED circuit board (), an LED drive circuit board ().

Ultraviolet irradiation unit

An inkjet printer includes an ejector, a waveguide, an electromagnetic wave supplier, a rotating reflector, and a ventilator. The ejector ejects ink onto a medium. Through the waveguide, the medium onto which the ink was ejected passes. The waveguide has a starting end part and a terminal end part. The electromagnetic wave supplier is provided at the starting end part of the waveguide to supply an electromagnetic wave to the waveguide. The rotating reflector is provided at the terminal end part of the waveguide and rotatable to reflect the electromagnetic wave supplied by the electromagnetic wave supplier. The ventilator ventilates an inside of the waveguide.

Inkjet printer

A 3D inkjet printer includes an inkjet head and a medium holder configured to hold a medium having a three-dimensional shape. A Y-axial driving mechanism is capable of moving the inkjet head along a Y-axial. A Z-axial supporting mechanism supports the medium holder so as to be movable along a Z-axial direction. An X-axial driving mechanism is capable of moving the Z-axial supporting mechanism along an X-axial direction. A Z-axial driving mechanism is capable of moving the medium holder along the Z-axial direction. The medium holder includes an A-axial driving mechanism capable of swinging the medium along an A-axial direction. The A-axial direction is a rotational direction about a shaft disposed along the Y-axial direction. A B-axial driving mechanism is capable of rotating the medium along a B-axial direction. The B-axial direction is a rotational direction about a shaft disposed perpendicular to the Y-axial direction.

3D inkjet printer

An inkjet printer includes an ejector, a wave guide, an electromagnetic wave supplier, and a reflector. The ejector is configured to eject ink toward a medium. Through the wave guide, the medium with the ink ejected by the ejector is inserted. The electromagnetic wave supplier is disposed at a start end of the wave guide to supply electromagnetic waves to the wave guide. The reflector is disposed at a terminal end of the wave guide to reflect the electromagnetic waves supplied by the electromagnetic wave supplier.

An inkjet printer includes a plurality of guide walls and a plurality of choke portions. Each of the plurality of guide walls is arranged substantially in parallel with a feeding direction of a medium to provide a guide wall clearance between the plurality of guide walls. The wave guide has a first internal space connected to the guide wall clearance and an electromagnetic-wave supplier and configured to apply the electromagnetic wave to the medium which is introduced into the first internal space. Each of the plurality of choke portions includes a second internal space adjacent to each guide wall and an opening from the second internal space to the guide wall clearance. The second internal space is connected to the first internal space via the guide wall clearance. The second internal space has a length of &#x3bb;/4 relative to wavelength &#x3bb; of the electromagnetic wave in the feeding direction.

Inkjet printer and ink dryer

An inkjet printer includes an inkjet head, an electromagnetic-wave supplier, a wave guide, and a ventilator. The inkjet head is configured to eject ink onto a surface of a medium. The electromagnetic-wave supplier is configured to generate electromagnetic waves. The wave guide has an internal space into which the medium is to be fed. The wave guide is connected to the electromagnetic-wave supplier to apply the electromagnetic waves to the medium. The ventilator is configured to flow a gas in the internal space of the wave guide.
