A damping unit includes a damping bent portion having the form of a flat plate and bent from a damping side portion. The damping bent portion is thermally coupled to a heat dissipation surface. This transfers the heat generated by the damping unit from the damping bent portion, in addition to the damping side portion, to the heat dissipation surface of an inverter case.

Motor-driven compressor

A motor-driven compressor includes an inverter device. The inverter device includes a noise reducing unit. The noise reducing unit includes common-mode choke coils and a smoothing capacitor. The common-mode choke coils include a first coil and a second coil. The first coil includes a first core, a first winding, and a second winding. The first core includes a first straight portion and a second straight portion. The second coil includes a second core, a third winding, and a fourth winding. The second core includes a third straight portion and a fourth straight portion. The first coil and the second coil are arranged side by side such that a current flowing through the first winding and the third winding generates an annular magnetic flux that passes through both of the first straight portion and the third straight portion.

A noise reducing unit includes a common mode choke coil and a first damping portion that is made of a nonmagnetic material. The common mode choke coil includes an annular core, a first winding wound around the core, and a second winding wound around the core and spaced apart from the first winding. The first damping portion surrounds the first winding and the second winding. The first damping portion is configured such that an induced current flows in the first damping portion to generate magnetic flux that resists changes in leakage flux leaking from the core. The noise reducing unit further includes a second damping portion that is made of a magnetic material. The second damping portion is disposed on an opposite side of the first damping portion from the common mode choke coil.

A motor-driven compressor includes an inverter device. The inverter device includes a common mode choke coil. The common mode choke coil includes an annular core, two windings wound around the core, and an annular conductor that covers the two windings. The conductor is divided into a first metal plate and a second metal plate, which are combined to form an annular shape such that induced current flows in a circumferential direction of the conductor so as to hinder changes in leakage magnetic flux from the core. The second metal plate is thermally connected to the housing. The first metal plate is thermally connected to the second metal plate. At least one of an electrical resistance value or a thermal resistance value in a current path of the induced current is lower in the second metal plate than in the first metal plate.

An inverter controller includes a processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to obtain a command rotation speed transmitted repeatedly from outside of the inverter controller, count a command obtaining interval that is a period from a point in time where an old command rotation speed was obtained to a point in time where a new command rotation speed is obtained, set a target acceleration of the electric motor when the command rotation speed has been obtained, and control the inverter circuit such that the electric motor rotates at the set target acceleration. The processing circuitry is configured to calculate a command acceleration based on the counted command obtaining interval and the new command rotation speed, the command acceleration being set as the target acceleration.

Inverter controller and on-vehicle fluid machine

An in-vehicle motor-driven compressor includes a common mode choke coil including an annular core having a through-hole, a first winding and a second winding wound around the core, and an annular conductor. The second winding is opposed to the first winding while being spaced apart from the first winding. The conductor surrounds the first and second windings, and the core. The conductor includes sections opposed to each other with the through-hole in between. The core is symmetrical with respect to at least one symmetry axis when the through-hole is viewed from the front. The first winding is located on one side of the at least one symmetry axis, and the second winding is located on the other side of the symmetry axis, so that the at least one symmetry axis is located between the first and second windings. The core includes an exposed section not covered with the conductor.

In-vehicle motor-driven compressor

An on-vehicle motor-driven compressor includes an inverter device having a noise reducer. The noise reducer includes a common mode choke coil. The common mode choke coil includes an annular core, first and second windings wound around the core, the second winding being spaced apart from and opposed to the first winding, an annular conductor that extends over the first winding and the second winding and covers the core, and an insulating layer located between an inner circumferential surface of the conductor and outer surfaces of the first winding and the second winding. The conductor is tubular and belt-shaped. The core includes an exposed portion that is not covered by the conductor. The insulating layer is tubular and belt-shaped. An entirety of the conductor is arranged within a range between opposite ends of the insulating layer.

On-vehicle motor-driven compressor

A metal film includes portions that are opposed to each other and located away from each other between the first winding and the second winding. The metal film includes the first linear part that is thermally coupled to a housing. The average value of electric resistance per unit length in the peripheral direction of the first linear part of the metal film is greater than an average value of electric resistance per unit length of locations other than the first linear part.

An inverter controller is configured to control an inverter circuit that drives an on-vehicle electric motor by using an on-vehicle electricity storage device. The inverter controller includes a two-phase voltage command value deriving unit that derives two-phase voltage command values on the basis of an external command value delivered from an external device and an acquisition result of a speed acquiring unit, and a three-phase voltage command value deriving unit that derives three-phase voltage command values on the basis of the two-phase voltage command values. The three-phase voltage command value deriving unit derives the three-phase voltage command values on the basis of a voltage utilization factor, which is calculated on the basis of the two-phase voltage command values and the acquisition result.

An on-board electric compressor that comprises: a housing; a compression unit; an electric motor; and an inverter device. The inverter device comprises: an inverter circuit that converts direct current power to alternating current power; and a noise reduction unit that is provided on an input side of the inverter circuit and that reduces common mode noise and normal mode noise that are included in the direct current power. The noise reduction unit comprises: a common mode choke coil; and a smoothing capacitor that, in cooperation with the common mode choke coil, constitutes a low pass filter circuit. The common mode choke coil has: a core that has a first core part and a second core part; a first winding that is wound around the first core part; and a second winding that is wound around the second core part.

On-board electric compressor

An on-board electric compressor that comprises: a housing; a compression unit; an electric motor; and an inverter device. The inverter device comprises: an inverter circuit that converts direct current power to alternating current power; and a noise reduction unit that is provided on an input side of the inverter circuit and that reduces common mode noise and normal mode noise that are included in the direct current power The noise reduction unit comprises: a common mode choke coil; and a smoothing capacitor that, in cooperation with the common mode choke coil, constitutes a low pass filter circuit. The common mode choke coil has: a core that has a first core part and a second core part; a first winding that is wound around the first core part; and a second winding that is wound around the second core part.

An on-vehicle motor-driven compressor includes a compression unit, an electric motor, and an inverter device. The inverter device includes an inverter circuit and a noise reducer. The noise reducer includes a common-mode choke coil and a smoothing capacitor. The common-mode choke coil includes a loop-shaped core, a first winding wound around the core, a second winding wound around the core, the second winding being spaced apart from and opposed to the first winding, and a loop-shaped conductor that covers the core while extending over the first winding and the second winding. The core includes an exposed portion that is not covered with the conductor. Parts of the conductor that are opposed to each other between the first winding and the second winding are spaced apart from each other.

An on-board fluid machine includes a housing configured to allow fluid to flow into the housing, an electric motor accommodated in the housing, and a driver that is supplied with DC power and drives the electric motor. The driver includes a low-pass filter circuit and an inverter circuit. The low-pass filter circuit includes a common mode choke coil and a capacitor. The driver further includes a damping unit located at a position where magnetic field lines produced by the common mode choke coil generate eddy current.

On-board fluid machine

An electric compressor includes a compression portion, an electric motor portion, a motor drive circuit portion, and a housing in which the compression portion, the electric motor portion, and the motor drive circuit portion are arranged in this order in an axial direction. The electric compressor further includes a partition wall, a refrigerant inlet, and a conductive member. The refrigerant inlet is disposed at a position in the housing closer to a partition wall than to the compression portion. The conductive member electrically connects the motor drive circuit portion and the electric motor portion. The electric compressor includes a shield member configured to block flow of refrigerant taken in through the refrigerant inlet and flowing toward the conductive member. The shield member is disposed in the electric motor portion so as to be located between the refrigerant inlet and the conductive member.
