A vehicle occupant restraint device includes an airbag that is provided in a shoulder belt position of a seat belt while being folded in a belt-like shape to be capable of inflating upon receiving a predetermined actuating signal, and the seat belt is wound by a single winding device. The airbag is folded to surround a slide guide including a hard member having seat-belt passing portions arranged at predetermined intervals in an insertion direction of webbing and a soft member supporting the hard member. The airbag smoothly slides along the webbing through the slide guide when the seat belt is pulled out.

In a computer on the transmission side, an NW driver, which is recognized, by the OS, as an NIC driver, stores data to be transmitted and a destination SPA into a memory, and outputs a transaction layer packet (TLP), which has been generated by a first computer, to a PCIe switch. A first NIC logic of the PCIe switch of the PCIe switch corresponding to the first computer on the transmission side adds a system port address (SPA) to the TLP transferred from the first computer, and transfers the data of the TLP to a port associated with a second NIC logic and having an address indicated by the SPA (destination SPA). The second NIC logic having received the data writes the receive data into a memory of a second computer, on the reception side, which is connected to another PCIe switch where the second NIC logic exists.

The stretch tetherassumes, depending on an expansion and unfolding status of the airbag, a first stage including transition from a slack state to a tense state, a second stage including stretching to a predetermined length while maintaining the tense state, and a third stage including being slackened when the driver contacts the airbag. The open/close devicemaintains the vent holein the open state in the first stage, maintains the vent holein the closed state in the second stage, and shifts the vent holeto the open state in the third stage.

An airbag device includes an airbag that is normally folded and is inflated and deployed in a case of an emergency, an inflator for supplying gas into the airbag, a retainer for retaining the airbag and the inflator, and a tension member that controls a shape or a function of the airbag by using tension. The tension member for an airbag includes two end portions connected to respective portions of the airbag that are movable relative to each other when the airbag is inflated and deployed, a widened portion provided between the two end portions, and a breaking section provided in the widened portion in such a manner as to extend in a direction of widening of the widened portion and configured to break depending on a magnitude of tension applied between the two end portions.

A seat belt retractor for retracting a seat belt includes a spool for retracting the seat belt, a locking mechanism for locking rotation of said spool, and an end-lock preventing mechanism for preventing an end-lock of the seat belt. The end-lock preventing mechanism includes a first speed-reduction portion for largely reducing a seat belt retracting speed of the spool when the spool retracts a substantially full length of the seat belt, and a second speed-reduction portion for reducing the seat belt retracting speed less than that of the first speed-reduction portion so as to provide a delay for the locking mechanism to be brought to a non-lock position at least when retraction of the seat belt is finished.

A child seat installation structure is disclosed in which it is prevented that an expandable portion, when it expands, interferes with a child seat. In one form, an airbelt includes a lap bag and a normal belt portion, a tip of which is connected to the lap bag. A bracket for fixing a tip side of the normal belt portion is provided on a lap anchor. A loop portion is formed on the tip side of the normal belt portion using a clip, and the loop portion is inserted into a fixing hole provided in the bracket and is locked with a lock member. After that, a child seat is placed on a seat, and only the normal belt portion is routed over the child seat.

A knee-bag to be inflated in front of an occupant leg includes a first member facing the occupant, a second member facing the first member, and a tether provided in the knee-bag for connecting the first member and the second member. The tether extends in a lateral direction and has end portions in a thickness direction of the knee-bag, and lateral ends in the lateral direction. At least one of the lateral ends has a portion located inwardly in the lateral direction so that air-flow spaces are formed between a left end of the tether and a left side of the knee-bag and between a right end of the tether and a right side of the knee-bag.

There is a need for shortening the memory access latency using a snoop and cache copy tag information. A knee-bag to be inflated in front of legs of an occupant includes a first member facing the occupant, a second member facing a side opposite to the occupant, and a tether provided in the knee-bag for connecting the first member and the second member. The tether extends in a lateral direction and has a middle portion and end portions in a thickness direction of the knee-bag. The middle portion has a width in the lateral direction smaller than that of the end portions, so that air-flow spaces are formed between a left end of the tether and a left side of the airbag and between a right end of the tether and a right side of the airbag.

A knee bag to be inflated upwardly from below in front of legs of a vehicle occupant includes an upper part constituting a constant width portion having a substantially constant lateral width, and a lower part below the constant width portion having a lateral width decreasing toward a lower end. Tethers extending laterally are provided vertically in the knee bag in multistage, and an upper tether has a longer lateral length. Vent spaces are formed between respective lateral ends of the tethers and lateral edges of the knee bag. The uppermost tether is located in the vicinity of or above a boundary between the constant width portion and a narrow width portion.

A gas generator is arranged in a vacant space around the seat to achieve effective utilization of a space for the seat. An inflatable seat bag is arranged above a seat pan. A seat cushion is installed above the seat bag. A gas introduction port is provided at a longitudinal end (the side of a side frame) of the seat bag, and a gas supply duct from a manifold at a distal end of an inflator is connected to the gas introduction port. The gas supply duct is disposed along the lower side of an S-spring. The inflator is mounted to a spindle with a bracket. A distal end of a gas introduction duct is connected to an end portion of a lap bag on the side of an anchor. A proximal end of the duct is connected to another gas outlet of the manifold.
