A manufacturing device of the present invention includes an intermediate molded body mold having a first accommodating space capable of accommodating a plurality of preforms, each preform having a mouth portion and a trunk portion; an intermediate molded body blowing unit configured to blow gas into the plurality of preforms arranged in the first accommodating space to inflate the plurality of preforms, thereby manufacturing an intermediate molded body having a connection portion formed by the trunk portions of the plurality of preforms welded to each other; a final molded body mold having a second accommodating space larger than the first accommodating space; and a final molded body blowing unit configured to blow gas into the intermediate molded body arranged in the second accommodating space to inflate the intermediate molded body, thereby forming an exterior shape of a multiple-chamber container.

Manufacturing device for multiple-chamber container and method therefor

A forming mold is used when forming a preform, which has a neck portion and a barrel portion, and whose barrel portion is filled with a molding material over the entire axial direction thereof, by injection molding; forming a space part in the barrel portion of the preform to convert the preform into an intermediate molded product; and blow-molding the intermediate molded product to form a hollow container which is a final molded product. The forming mold is equipped with a boring rod which is inserted from the neck portion side into the barrel portion of the preform to form the space part of at least a predetermined depth in the barrel portion.

Hollow container manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus

An injection molding system is used to mold a preform having an undercut. The molding system includes an injection core mold, and three injection cavity molds, which are a neck mold for defining a neck of the preform, a first cavity mold including two mold halves for defining an outer wall of the preform having the undercut, and a second cavity mold for defining a remaining outer wall of the preform. The molding system also includes a clamping unit for opening and clamping the foregoing molds and a mold half opening mechanism for opening and clamping mold halves of the first cavity mold.

Injection molding system for making preform with undercut

The present invention provides a multi-ply molding hot-runner mold including a plurality of nozzle bodies for injecting a plurality of different resin materials to form a multi-ply product. The hot-runner mold comprises a plurality of hot-runner blocks each having a runner for conducting each resin material into the corresponding nozzle body. The hot-runner blocks are stacked one above another with a thermal insulation layer therebetween. Each of the hot-runner blocks includes temperature control means for maintaining the hot-runner blocks at its own molding temperature. Connecting blocks for conducting the resin material from the lower block to the upper block are provided between each adjacent hot-runner block. Between each adjacent hot-runner block there are provided holding members and thermal insulation layers.

Multi-ply molding hot-runner mold

The process and apparatus of stretch-blow molding a preform in the axial and radial directions into a biaxially oriented container by the use of a stretching rod assembly and a blowing of pressurized fluid. In the axially stretching step, the surface area of the working end of the stretching rod assembly is changed. The axially stretching step is carried out through a plurality of stages each of which provide a different surface area of the working end of the stretching rod assembly. The apparatus preferred to carry out this process has a plurality of concentrically disposed stretching rods and an tip piece fixedly mounted on the working end of each of the stretching rods and having an external diameter at the surface area different from those of the other stretching rods. When such stretching rods are driven independently or in combination, the bottom surface area of the stretching rod assembly to be engaged by the inner bottom wall of the preform can be easily changed.

Process of stretch-blow molding

The present invention provides an apparatus of stretch-blow molding a preform in the axial and radial directions into a biaxially oriented container by the use of a stretching rod assembly and a blowing of pressurized fluid. Apparatus of stretch-blow molding

A hollow container having a grip is formed by injection molding the grip and annular rings onto a blow molded container. An injection molded parison is first stretch blow molded to form a hollow container body having annular grooves. The hollow container body is then placed in a mold having molding grooves and a grip molding cavity. The molding grooves on the mold and the annular grooves on the container body together define connecting ring molding cavities. A pressure higher than ambient pressure is applied to the interior of the hollow container body. Then the grip and connecting rings are formed onto the hollow container body by injection filling the grip and connecting ring molding cavities.
