A conveyance apparatus () according to an embodiment includes: a trough () that receives an article from an outside and conveys the article in a conveyance direction from upstream to downstream; and a drive unit () that drives the trough. The trough includes a plurality of protrusions () on a front surface () on which the article is conveyed, and an opening (A) passing from the front surface to a back surface () is formed at an end (E) on a downstream side of the plurality of protrusions.

A weighing mechanism () includes: a hopper () configured to store an article; a hanger () on which the hopper is hung; a mass weighing instrument () configured to weigh the article stored in the hopper; a connection member () that connects the hanger and the mass weighing instrument; a main body member () having a through hole () through which the connection member penetrates; a diaphragm () that connects an outer edge of the connection member and an inner edge of the through hole of the main body member; and a waterproof cover () that covers at least part of the through hole between the diaphragm and the hanger. The waterproof cover is detachably attached only to the hanger among the main body member and the hanger.

A weighing and packaging system includes a combination weighing apparatus including a plurality of weighing units that accumulates and weighs supplied articles, a combination calculator that performs combination calculation using weighing values weighed by the weighing units and selects a combination of corresponding articles, and a collecting chute that collects and discharges the articles pertaining to the combination and a packaging apparatus including a former that receives the articles discharged from the combination weighing apparatus disposed on an upper side and forms a belt-shaped package into a cylindrical shape such that the articles fill an inside thereof, a seal portion disposed below the former to seal the cylindrical package, thereby forming a bag, and a discharge portion that discharge the bag formed by the seal portion, wherein a first opening that opens to a lateral side of a discharge direction of the bag and exposes the collecting chute and the former on the lateral side is provided.
