The invention is a crystal oscillator having a vibrating plate comprising a vibrating part surrounded by a rim part spaced from the vibrating part except for a narrow connecting part that connects the vibrating part to the rim part in a cantilever fashion. The thickness of the vibrating part and the connecting part are less than the thickness of the rim part. The vibrating part is sandwiched between a pair of casings. Each of the casings has a recess facing the vibrating part, which prevent the vibrating part from contacting the casings. Each surface facing a recess has an electrode positioned thereon and an electrode lead extending from the surface electrode to the connecting part. Each casing has a through-hole positioned to face an electrical lead. A cup-shaped metal lead is placed in each through-hole with the bottom of the cup contacting the electrical lead facing the through-hole. Current to the surface electrodes is supplied through the metal leads.

Crystal oscillator

An oscillator has a pair of upper and lower casing members in the form of plates, and a vibration plate pinched between the upper and lower casing members. A tongue-like vibrating portion is formed by forming a slit in the vibration plate inside an outer peripheral portion of the vibration plate pinched between the upper and lower casing members. Electrodes are formed on obverse and reverse surfaces of the vibrating portion.

Oscillator

Two-stage skew adjustment is achieved by first using only the drive force of the platen roller with the pinch roller and the capstan roller drive disrupted by a gap opening mechanism to effect a large skew adjustment. Then, the gap is closed and the platen roller, which has a Teflon-resin coating thereon and a larger diameter than the capstan roller or pinch roller, effects a small skew adjustment. Thereafter, printing is effected by feeding the paper in a reverse direction to register with an inked ribbon feed of a primary ribbon using the platen roller drive and the pinch roller drive with the skew cycle repeated for each ribbon color segment to achieve improved multicolor printing registration.

Printer with two-stage skew adjustment

In a thermal printer for thermo-sensitive recording, a plurality of heating resistors are electrically divided into N units each having M heating resistors, and N driver circuits, N latch circuits and N shift registers which are interconnected in tandem are respectively provided in association with the N units of M heating resistors. Dot data signals and associated hysteresis correction signals are collectively applied to the shift registers so that a pulse for print data and a pulse for hysteresis correction data can be applied continuously for printing.

Thermal printer

The present invention relates to a printer, and more particularly to a heat transfer printer. The printer comprises: a pair of upper and lower chutes for guiding printed paper; an idle roller provided on the upper chute; a paper discharging motor bracket provided on the lower chute; a paper discharging lever rotatably provided on the paper discharging motor bracket; and a paper discharging pulley disposed at a tip of the paper discharging lever, wherein, at the time of discharging the paper, the paper discharging lever is rotated by a driving force of a motor provided on the bracket to cause the paper discharging pulley to project from the lower chute so as to come into contact with the idle roller, while, at the time of printing, the motor is stopped.

The present invention relates to a printer which is capable of eliminating the slack of paper, wherein, at the time of printing, the paper is fed by a pinch roller, while, at the time of paper feeding, the paper is caused to slide relatively at least on a platen roller.

The present invention relates to a ribbon feed mechanism for use in a heat transfer printer. The ribbon feed mechanism includes first, second, and third ribbon feed components fitted on a shaft, a friction plate mounted between the first and second ribbon feed components, a spring mounted between the second and third ribbon feed components, a cylinder which is in contact with the third ribbon feed component at one end thereof, and a ribbon feed presser for pressing the other end of the cylinder toward the third ribbon feed component. The rotational torque is always kept constant, and therefore no unmatching of colors occurs when the mechanism is applied to a printer.
