A vehicle-body front structure includes a partition wall portion which demarcates a space inside a vehicle cabin, a motor arrangement portion which is formed by causing a part of the partition wall portion to bulge to an inside of the vehicle cabin and in which at least a part of a traveling motor is capable of being arranged, a reinforcement member which is inclined to be positioned lower toward vehicle rear, and a floor reinforcement which extends in a vehicle front-rear direction. A closed cross-section is configured with the motor arrangement portion, the reinforcement member, and the floor reinforcement.

Vehicle-body front structure including a reinforcement structure and a floor reinforcement

There are provided first and second loop-shaped structure sections which are provided to extend continuously along respective lower wall parts, respective right-and-left both side wall parts, and respective upper wall parts of a vehicle body so as to have a loop shape in a vehicle elevational view, respectively. The first and second loop-shaped structure sections are respectively positioned on an forward side and on a rearward side, in a vehicle longitudinal direction, of a damper support section. Each of these sections is formed by a closed-cross section portion where a closed-cross section is partitioned by plural members and/or a thick plate portion having a thicker plate thickness than a vehicle-body panel.

Rear vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A vehicle rear body structure improves rigidity of a portion around a wheel house while suppressing an increase in body weight (number of components) as much as possible. While a wheel house inner is provided with a second inner side reinforcement extending in a vertical direction, in a wheel house outer, a bulged section, which is formed to be bulged to a cabin outer side, includes a wheel arch-shaped section formed in an arch shape to cover a rear wheel from above when seen in a vehicle side view. The wheel house outer is formed with an upward extending ridgeline section that extends upward above the wheel arch-shaped section along a bulged shape of the bulged section to the cabin outer side and at least a portion of which overlaps the second inner side reinforcement when seen in the vehicle side view.

Vehicle rear body structure

A vehicle side body structure can secure a vibration-damping property of a body regardless of design specification by including a rear wheel house including a wheel house outer and a wheel house inner; a side sill extending forward from a front end of the wheel house outer; and an outer reinforcement extending in a vertical direction along a door opening edge from an intermediate portion in a front-rear direction of the wheel house outer. The wheel house outer includes: an outer overhang overhanging outward; and an outer flange extending upward from an inner end of the outer overhang. A reinforcing member is provided to cooperate with the outer overhang and the outer flange so as to define a closed cross section in a substantially triangular shape. The reinforcing member couples a rear end of the side sill and a lower end of the outer reinforcement.

Vehicle side body structure

To provide a vehicle side body structure capable of securing vibration suppression performance while suppressing an increase in body weight by a connecting member that connects an outer reinforcement and an inner reinforcement. The present invention includes: a rear wheel house configured to include a wheel house outer and a wheel house inner; an outer reinforcement cooperating with the wheel house outer to define a first closed cross section that extends in a vertical direction and is provided along a part of a rear door opening edge; and an inner reinforcement cooperating with the wheel house inner to define a second closed cross section that extends in the vertical direction. A connecting member is provided to fix a striker to the outer reinforcement and connect a front flange of the outer reinforcement and each of a front wall and a front flange of the inner reinforcement.

The vehicle body structure including an inner rein coupled to a first portion of a vibration source in a vehicle and a component constituting a vehicle body; an outer rein coupled to the component and a second portion different from the first portion of the vibration source; and a damping structure arranged between the inner rein and the outer rein and configured to dampen vibrations transmitted along the inner rein and the outer rein, wherein the inner rein includes a portion that interrupts transmission of the vibration transmitted along the inner rein, and is connected to the second reinforcing member via the damping structure.

Each rear pillar () includes a rear pillar inner panel () and a rear pillar reinforcement (). The rear pillar inner panel () and the rear pillar reinforcement () each include a substantially L-shaped corner portion (C, C) raised toward the rear pillar inner panel (), and a ridge portion (X, X). The corner portions (C, C) are arranged next to each other in the direction toward a reinforcement (), and an L-shaped closed cross section () is formed between the corner portions (C, C). The reinforcement () is, not via the closed cross section, directly connected to the corner portions (C, C). An upper portion of the L-shaped closed cross section () is connected to a closed rear header cross section ().

Rear body structure for automobiles

A roof reinforcement () includes an upper surface portion () to be joined to a roof panel (), and a recess portion () formed in such a manner as to be recessed below the upper surface portion (). A rising piece () rising from a bottom surface portion () upwardly, and a joint piece () extending from an upper end of the rising piece () outwardly in the vehicle width direction are formed at both ends of the bottom surface portion () of the recess portion () in the vehicle width direction. The joint piece () is welded to the roof panel () and to each of flange portions () of the roof reinforcement ().

A ridgeline portion is provided at a pillar inner panel such that the ridgeline portion extends substantially vertically from a side sill (a roof side rail), and a load-transmission restraint portion is provided between the ridgeline portion and a welding portion of a pillar end portion where the pillar inner panel is welded to a pillar outer panel or a pillar reinforcement, and the side sill (the roof side rail), the load-transmission restraint portion being configured to have a longitudinal width which is wider than that of a central portion, in the vertical direction, of a center pillar and be substantially flat.

A connecting reinforcement interconnecting a fixing plate which is a window-frame member to reinforce a sun roof opening and a roof side rail at a position corresponding to a center pillar is provided. The connecting reinforcement is positioned forward of the roof reinforcement, has a specified second sectional shape, and extends in a vehicle width direction roughly horizontally. A rear edge portion of the connecting reinforcement and a front edge portion of the roof reinforcement are connected to each other, and an inboard edge portion of the connecting reinforcement and a front edge portion of the roof reinforcement are connected via the fixing plate.

An opening portion is formed at a specified portion of a roof gusset which covers part of a panel joint portion from below. A pair of center-pillar side joint portions is provided at an outward end portion of the roof gusset, which is joined to a center pillar directly or via another panel member. A pair of first high-rigidity portions is provided at specified portions of the roof gusset which overlap the opening portion in a vehicle width direction and overlap the center-pillar joint portions in the vehicle longitudinal direction, respectively. A second high-rigidity portion is provided at an inward end portion of the roof gusset to extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction.

Upper vehicle-body structure of vehicle

Provided is a vehicle upper structure which is capable of increasing, in a simple manner, a section modulus (resistive force) against a bending moment to be imposed on a roof reinforcement by a swinging phenomenon of a gusset occurring when a side impact load input into a center pillar and a roof side rail member is applied to the roof reinforcement from the gusset during a vehicle side impact event, to allow the load to be effectively dispersed to the roof reinforcement. A center pillar includes a first reinforcement panel which is arranged between an outer panel and an inner panel, comprises a bottom wall portion, both-side vertical wall portions extending in a vehicle width direction from the bottom wall portion, and both-side flange portions, and has a cross section formed in substantially a hat shape. A second reinforcement panel comprising a bottom wall portion and both-side vertical wall portions and having a cross section formed in substantially a U shape is arranged inside the first reinforcement panel. The second reinforcement panel is joined to the first reinforcement panel such that only the bottom wall portion and one of the both-side vertical wall portions are joined to the bottom wall portion and one of the both-side vertical wall portions, respectively.
