A battery pack is provided that includes a plurality of batteries, a connection substrate being connected to the plurality of batteries, a circuit substrate for connecting an external electronic device, and a connection member for connecting the connection substrate and the circuit substrate. Each battery has a drawer portion for leading out a cathode terminal and an anode terminal provided at a same side of the battery. The drawer portion has wall portions standing against the drawer portion so that the side portions of the drawer portion are opposed each other. The plurality of batteries are arranged in row so that the drawer portion of the plurality of batteries face to a same direction. A part of the connection substrate is disposed on the drawer portion of the battery. The rim of the connection substrate is provided with cutouts to let the wall portions disposed therein.

The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material with enhanced color developing sensitivity maintaining heat resistance and image storage stability characteristics such as plasticizer resistance and water resistance. The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material including at least a substrate and a heat-sensitive color developing layer containing a leuco dye and developers on the front surface of the substrate, wherein as the developers 4-hydroxy-4'-allyloxydiphenyl sulfone is used in combination with a first diphenyl compound represented by formula (1) and/or a second diphenyl compound represented by formula (2). 

Heat-sensitive recording material

The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material having a support, a heat-sensitive color-developing layer containing a leuco dye and a developer, and a protective layer, the heat-sensitive color-developing layer and the protective layer being formed on the support, wherein carboxylic-acid-modified polyvinyl alcohol with a weight average degree of polymerization of 100 to 400 and a modification degree of 0.2 mol % to 1.0 mol % is used as a dispersing agent for dispersing the leuco dye.

A manufacturing method of a pressure sensor that includes a pressure detector having a bottomed cylindrical member with a bottom including a thin-wall portion and a strain detecting mechanism provided on one side of the bottom for detecting a strain of the bottom and a pressure-introducing joint for introducing the fluid to be measured into the bottomed cylindrical member is provided. The method includes: first welding for butt-welding an end of the cylindrical portion of the bottomed cylindrical member and an end of the pressure-introducing joint; and second welding for welding the pressure-introducing joint in parallel to a first weld bead formed by the first welding.

Manufacturing method of pressure sensor and pressure sensor

A fluid pressure sensor () for measuring the pressure of a fluid comprises a diaphragm portion () which is a strain generating body, a silicon oxide film () as an insulating film, and a strain gauge () made of crystalline silicon, and austenitic precipitation hardening type Fe&#x2014;Ni heat-resisting steel excellent in mechanical strength and corrosion resistance is used for the diaphragm portion (). The silicon oxide film () is formed with the internal stress thereof adjusted to the range from &#x2212;150 to 130 MPa. With this feature, the fluid pressure sensor () ensures high precision and reliability, and may be used even for measurement of a highly corrosive fluid.

Strain detector and method of manufacturing the same

A pressure sensor () includes a diaphragm () with a bottom formed of a thin-wall portion () and a pressure introducing joint (), in which an austenitic precipitation hardening Fe&#x2014;Ni heat resisting steel having high mechanical strength is used for the diaphragm (), while an austenitic stainless steel that is relatively inexpensive is used for the pressure introducing joint (). The diaphragm () and the pressure introducing joint () are integrated by welding, and Ni content of a weld portion is appropriately adjusted. Thereby, the pressure sensor () achieves high accuracy and reliability, and usage amount of the expensive austenitic precipitation hardening Fe&#x2014;Ni heat resisting steel can be minimized in manufacturing the pressure sensor (). Also, since the austenitic stainless steel has an excellent corrosion resistance, the pressure sensor () can be used in measurement of a fluid with high corrosiveness.

Pressure sensor

A thermosensitive recording material having a support, a thermosensitive coloring layer provided on the support and containing a leuco dye and a color developer for developing the leuco dye upon application of heat, and a protective layer provided on the thermosensitive coloring layer and containing polyvinyl alcohol having reactive carbonyl groups, a hydrazide compound which crosslinks the polyvinyl alcohol through the reactive carbonyl groups, and a basic filler. The protective layer may be formed by applying a coating composition containing polyvinyl alcohol having reactive carbonyl groups, a hydrazide compound which crosslinks the polyvinyl alcohol through the reactive carbonyl groups, and a basic filler onto a thermosensitive coloring layer provided on a support, and drying the applied coating composition to crosslink the polyvinyl alcohol.

Thermosensitive recording material and method of production thereof

An absolute-pressure type of pressure sensor is provided. The sensor has a pressure detecting device having a metal diaphragm. Strain gauges are disposed on one surface of the diaphragm, whose other surface is formed to receive fluid to be detected. The sensor comprises a lid, relay board, two seal rings, and input/output terminal. The lid provides a reference pressure space. The relay board is electrically connected to the gauge and composed of laminated ceramic members having both of through holes formed to pass through both sides thereof and a protrusion formed outwardly. The two seal rings are located to face the two sides of the board, respectively. The one seal ring air-tightly connects the relay board and the diaphragm. The other seal ring air-tightly connects the relay board and the lid. The terminal is electrically connected to the relay board and mounted on the protrusion of the relay board.

Absolute-pressure type of pressure sensor

There is provided a leuco dye dispersion liquid for a thermosensitive recording material wherein the leuco dye is being dispersed with an anionic surfactant and an nonionic surfactant, while average particle diameter of the leuco dye ranges from 0.10 &#x3bc;m to 0.30 &#x3bc;m and content of particles less than or equal to 0.07 &#x3bc;m in diameter of the dye is not greater than 1.0%. The leuco dye dispersion liquid shows no fogging, and can cause a high optical density of image on thermosensitive member with excellent brightness in background area, and a high durability for storage at elevated temperature.

Dye dispersion liquid and thermosensitive recording material using the same

A thermosensitive recording material having a support, a thermosensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a color developer, and an intermediate layer interposed therebetween. The intermediate layer contains hollow particles having a hollowness of 60 to 98%, a maximum particle diameter (D100) of 5.0 to 10.0 &mgr;m and a ratio D100/D50 of the maximum particle diameter (D100) to the median volume equivalent particle diameter (D50) in the range of 1.5 to 3.0. The hollow particles may be composed of a crosslinked polymer of a chlorine-free vinyl monomer.

Thermosensitive recording material

A method of producing a toner for developing latent electrostatic images is disclosed, which comprises the steps of dispersing resin particles comprising a resin in an organic solvent in which the resin is not dissolved; dissolving a dye in the organic solvent before or after dispersing the resin particles in the organic solvent to prepare a dispersion in which the resin particles and the dye are contained, thereby dying the resin particles with the dye; and removing the organic solvent from the dispersion, wherein the ratio of the solubility [D.sub.1 ] of the dye in the organic solvent to the solubility [D.sub.2 ] of the dye in the resin of the resin particles, [D.sub.1 ]/[D.sub.2 ], is not more than 0.5.

Method of producing toner for developing latent electrostatic images

An image formation material for forming images including color images, such as a toner or developer for use in image formation methods such as electrophotography, electrostatic recording, and in an ink jet printing, includes a binder resin, a dye, and a quencher for preventing the deterioration of the dye; and a method of preventing the fading of images formed by the above image formation methods can be carried out by use of this image formation material.

A recording apparatus which when used includes in an arbitrary order steps of brining a contact material into contact with a surface of a recording medium, and selectively heating the surface of the recording medium. The surface of the recording medium has a characteristic which a receding contact angle becomes smaller when the recording medium is brought into contact with liquid and it is in the heated status. The contact material is selected from a liquid, a vapor or a liquid under conditions of a temperature lower than a temperature at which the receding contact angle of the recording medium starts to decrease. An area having the receding contact angle corresponding to a temperature of the recording medium obtained by selectively heating the surface of the recording medium in accordance with image information in formed, as latent image, on the surface of the recording medium.

A toner for developing latent electrostatic images to visible toner images, composed of toner particles containing a thermoplastic resin and a compound with formula (I) or a compound with formula (II) serving as a coloring agent: ##STR1## The toner particles may be composed of thermoplastic resin particles which are dyed with one of the compounds (I) or (II) serving as a coloring agent.
