A detection device to be used in an in-vehicle network including a CAN (Controller Area Network) bus and a plurality of function units connected to the CAN bus includes: a measurement unit configured to measure a signal waveform of a frame transmitted in the CAN bus; a calculation unit configured to calculate a plurality of kinds of feature amounts of the signal waveform measured by the measurement unit; and a detection unit configured to detect an abnormality regarding the CAN bus, based on each of the feature amounts calculated by the calculation unit.

Detection device, in-vehicle system, and detection method

A security system includes an information transmission device, and a security device to which a target device is connectable. The information transmission device and the security device are connected to each other via a network. The information transmission device transmits, to the security device, generation information to be used for generating reference identification information. The security device generates the reference identification information by using the generation information received from the information transmission device via the network. The security device acquires identification information of the target device connected to the security device. The security device compares the acquired identification information with the generated reference identification information, and determines validity of the target device connected thereto, based on a result of comparison.

A vehicle-mounted communication system is mounted in a vehicle and includes a plurality of functional units connected to a control network in the vehicle and a management device connected to a security network in the vehicle. Communication from the control network to the security network is partially limited. The vehicle-mounted communication system further includes a data acquisition device that acquires data transmitted through the control network and transmits the data to the management device. The management device detects an abnormality related to the control network based on the data received from the data acquisition device.

A connector system is provided with a first connector including a first transmission line, and a second connector including a second transmission line. The second connector includes a processing unit configured to perform an information transmission process of creating information regarding verification, and transmitting the information to the first connector. The first connector includes: a switch configured to, in a state where the first connector and the second connector are connected to each other, select whether or not to electrically connect the first transmission line and the second transmission line to each other; a verification unit configured to perform a verification process of verifying the second connector, based on the information received from the second connector; and a control unit configured to control the switch, based on a result of the verification process.

A vehicle-mounted charging device () includes a vehicle-mounted battery (), a vehicle-mounted electronic control unit () and a modem startup control unit. The vehicle-mounted battery is charged with power supplied from external charging equipment via a charging cable (). The vehicle-mounted electronic control unit is configured to perform charging communication, relating to charging of the vehicle-mounted battery, with the external charging equipment using an in-band modem (). The modem startup control unit starts up the in-band modem when the vehicle-mounted electronic control unit performs the charging communication, and that stops a startup of the in-band modem when the vehicle-mounted electronic control unit does not perform the charging communication.

Vehicle-mounted charging device and vehicle charging system

A vehicle charging apparatus mounted on a vehicle for charging an on-vehicle battery from an external power supply, with a charging plug connected to the vehicle, includes a communication device that is configured to perform communication with a charging facility providing the external power supply with the charging plug connected and locked to the vehicle. The communication device prohibits disconnection of the communication when an unlocking operation to unlock the charging plug is executed during charging from the external power supply to the on-vehicle battery.

It is possible to reduce the memory capacity of a buffer of relay connection unit and reduce the time required for deciding a message to be transmitted. A relay connection unit is arranged between bushes to which electronic control units are connected and relays a message transmitted and received between the electronic control units belonging to different bushes. The relay connection unit includes: a buffer which temporarily stores message in the order to receptions; a storage unit which stores the priority set for each of the message; and a processing unit which extracts N message in the order of the receptions from the buffer, reads the priorities of the respective messages extracted from the storage unit, compares the priorities of the N messages, and transmits the message having the highest priority.

On-vehicle relay connection unit

A Relay connection unit which is connected with a plurality of buses and relays a message to a different bus. The relay connection section comprises a data check section for detecting an error in a data section of a received message, a storage section for storing set data or/and the previously sent data for message rewriting use for each ID (identifier) attached to the message, and a data rewrite portion for rewriting the data section of the message in which the error is detected into the set data or the previously sent data stored in the storage section.

Relay connection unit mounted in vehicle

A message is efficiently relayed in a cut-through mode to a communication line of the transmission destination of a transmission rate higher than that of the communication line of the recipient while preventing the state that there is no data to be transmitted. A vehicle-mounted relay connection unit is used to relay messages received through first CAN communication lines to a second CAN communication line of a transmission rate higher than that of the first transmission lines in a cut-though mode. A relaying section measures the time difference between the time when the reception of the control field of a message among the messages simultaneously received through the first CAN communication lines is completed earliest and the time when the reception of the control field of another message is completed, determines the transmission waiting time from the completion of the reception of the control field of each message, and first relays the message such that the sum of the transmission waiting time and the time difference of the reception completion is small to the second CAN communication line.

Vehicle-mounted relay connection unit

A Relay connection unit connects networks connected to ECUs via multiple communication lines and relays signals transmitted/received between the ECUs belonging to the different networks. The relay connection unit comprises a recording part that records the relationship between ECUs that currently transmit/receive signals to/from each other; a buffer part that records transmission completion times at which the relay connection unit transmits signals received from ECUs to the networks to which other ECUs of relay destination belong; and a communication abnormality determining part that determine a time difference (T) between the transmission completion time corresponding to a network, for which the signal transmission has been completed the earliest, and each of the transmission completion times corresponding to the other networks for which signal transmissions have been completed and that determines that the signal transmission to a network for which the corresponding time difference is equal to or greater than a predetermined time is a communication delay.

Relay connection unit and vehicle-mounted communication system

A relay connection unit which is connected to a first communication line of a first communication protocol for communicating a first message via time-divided slots and a second communication line of a second communication protocol for communicating a second message with the ID and converts the communication protocols to relay the first message and the second message. The relay connection unit is characterized by converting a first storage table in which the ID of the second message is assigned for each time-divided slot for the communication of the first message and the second message into the first message and having processing section for transmitting the converted first message to the first communication line via the time slots assigned in the first storage table.

Relay connection unit for vehicle

An on-vehicle communication system has a plurality of buses relay-connected through a relay connection unit, each of the buses having at least one ECU connected thereto. In the vehicle communication system, a basic routing table that specifies a relay point for transmitting from the relay connection unit to the ECU is stored in a ROM and a transmission list report message about message IDs is transmitted. The ECU receives the transmission list report message and sends back a transmission request message about a message ID, which is not included in the transmission list report message but should be received, to the relay connection unit. The transmission request message is received by a table creation unit in the relay connection unit. The table creation unit creates a new additional routing table indicating a correspondence relationship between an ID requested by the transmission request message and a transmission destination and being stored in a RAM.

On-vehicle communication system

Provided is an on-vehicle relay connection unit which forms a network by arranging electronic control units between buses to which the electronic control units are respectively connected and relays a message transmitted and received between the electronic control units belonging to the different buses. The relay connection unit includes a network management processing circuit of the relay connection unit and a storage device which stores as parameters, specification conditions of the network management functions held in the network management processing circuit and a condition which may be modified among the state transition conditions between the functions. Upon start of the relay connection unit, the network management processing circuit reads out the parameters from the storage device and executes the network management functions by using the parameters.

A vehicle-mounted Local Area Network (LAN) system includes vehicle-mounted LANs in each of which an electronic control unit is connected to a communication line to send and receive messages. The LAN system also includes a relay connection unit that relays the messages between the vehicle-mounted LANs. Each electronic control unit has a reception port for transmitting a reception confirmation signal to the relay connection unit in response to a received message. The relay connection unit has a relay management device that determines, based on the presence or absence of the reception confirmation signal responsive to the message relayed to each of the vehicle-mounted LANs, whether or not a relay is required, and that then updates relay processing information stored in a storage device.

Vehicle-mounted LAN system, electronic control unit, relay connection unit, and vehicle-mounted LAN communication means

This invention provides a relay connection unit that relay message and make sufficient number of branches to be able to connect a plurality of ECUs. The relay connection unit includes: reception connectors to which a plurality of insertion connectors of communication lines can respectively be connected; a branch connection unit that divides the reception connectors into a plurality of groups, the branch connection unit branch-connecting the communication lines through the reception connectors belonging to the respective groups; a plurality of vehicle-mounted LAN communication units respectively connecting to each of the groups of the reception connectors via the branch connection unit, which are configured to perform transmission/reception of messages; and a relay processing unit that relays an incoming message received via one of the vehicle-mounted LAN communication units to another of the vehicle-mounted LAN communication units of another relay connection unit in accordance with a relaying destination.
