An excrement treating apparatusincludes an excretion receiverand an apparatus body. The excretion receiverincludes a receiver bodywhich receives excretions and an excretion sensorwhich detects the excretions. The apparatus bodyincludes a urine tankwhich stores urine, a vacuum pumpwhich sucks urine received by the receiver bodyinto the urine tank, and a control unit. The excretion sensorincludes a pair of urine sensor electrodesandwhich detect urine received by the receiver body. The control unitcontrols so as to reverse the polarity of the urine sensor electrodesandat prescribed time intervals. In the excrement treating apparatus, the excretion sensor's sensitivity is stabilized and urination is accurately detected and treated.

In a urine receptacle of an automatic urine disposal device, a urine backflow prevention sheet, with no water permeability, having funnel-shaped pores, is placed between a top sheet and a urine absorbing sheet. A pair of rectangular electrodes, constituting a urine detection sensor, is glued onto an electrode support sheet and is placed between the top sheet and the urine backflow prevention sheet. A plurality of funnel-shaped pores is formed on the urine backflow prevention sheet.

An automatic urine collection apparatus includes a collection container for accumulating urine transferred from a urine receiver through a tube and a main body for supporting the collection container, wherein the main body includes a suction pump for sucking the urine received by the urine receiver and carrying the urine to the collection container, a mass sensor for measuring the urine accumulated in the collection container, a control board for calculating a volume of the urine based on the measured mass of the urine, and an indicator for indicating the calculated volume of the urine.

Automatic urine collection apparatus

A urine receiver which is sanitary, easy to attach, and furthermore, prevents urine leakage even when a wearer repeatedly changes positions is provided. A urine receiveris implemented in a urine collection processing system wherein urine discharged from the wearer is suctioned into a urine tank via a urethral tube. The urine receivercomprises, at the least: a liquid permeable, air-impermeable sheetwhich is placed opposite of and covering the urethral meatus of the wearer; a leak-proof sheetwhich is placed on the surface of the air-impermeable sheetopposite to the urethral meatus and bonds to the outer border of the air-impermeable sheet; a suction partwhich is provided between the air-impermeable sheetand the leak-proof sheetand to which the urethral tubeis connected; and a gathers partfor sealing the space between the air-impermeable sheetand the wearer's skin surface which is provided on the outer border part of the air-impermeable sheeton the urethral meatus side.

Urine receiver and urine collection processing system implementing urine receiver

A thermal printer wherein a sheet of recording paper is interposed between two drums provided on axially opposite sides of a shaft of a platen roll facing a line-type thermal head and an endless belt mounted on outer peripheries of the drum. One way clutches provided on a shaft of the drum will cause the paper to rotate together with the drums during recording and the recording paper is driven by the endless belt during paper feed and delivery operations to slide relative to the drums. The sheet of paper is fed to a lower portion of an open portion of the drums and is removed from an upper portion of the open portion of the drums so that the feed and delivery of the sheet of paper can be effected upon rotation of the drums in one direction, and the printing operation is started after a detection of a trailing end of the sheet of paper so that the printing operation can be reformed regardless of the length of the sheet of paper immediately after the feed of the sheet of paper.
