A first lead frame has a cathode connection portion connected via a first electrically conductive member to a cathode portion, and a first connection portion having a first connection surface, and is at least partially, externally exposed. A second lead frame has a supporting connection portion connected via a second electrically conductive member to the cathode portion, and a second connection portion having a second connection surface facing the first connection surface. A third electrically conductive member interconnects the first and second connection portions. A solid electrolytic capacitor that can achieve low cost and high production yield can thus be provided.

A solid electrolytic capacitor includes a cathode terminal structured such that the cathode terminal's flat portion connected to a cathode portion has a divided structure made up of a first flat portion and a second flat portion spaced from each other by a predetermined distance to form a slit. Therefore, even if the cathode terminal is caused to be peeled off from the cathode portion, the peeling can be restricted to only one of the first and second flat portions, so that the peeled-off area can be prevented from increasing. Accordingly, the reliability of the state of fixture of the cathode terminal to the cathode portion is improved, so that the solid electrolytic capacitor can be provided having the structure with which the reliability of the solid electrolytic capacitor can be improved.

The present invention is a solid electrolytic capacitor having a dielectric coating film, a solid electrolytic layer, and a cathode lead-out layer on a peripheral surface of an anode body in this order, in which the solid electrolytic layer is equipped with at least a first electrolytically polymerized layer and a second electrolytically polymerized layer formed by electrolytic polymerization of the same monomer, and the first electrolytically polymerized layer and the second electrolytically polymerized layer contain a different dopant. With this configuration, a solid electrolytic capacitor is provided that is superior in an ESR characteristic and also superior in heat resistance without deteriorating leakage current.

A solid electrolytic capacitor of the present invention includes a capacitor element having an anode element, an anode lead member projecting from the anode element, a dielectric coating formed on a surface of the anode element and a surface of the anode lead member near the anode element, a solid electrolyte layer formed on the dielectric coating, and a cathode lead layer formed on the solid electrolyte layer; and an insulating enclosure member for coating the outer periphery of the capacitor element. End faces of the dielectric coating and the solid electrolyte layer formed on the anode lead member are formed approximately flush with each other. The end faces of the dielectric coating and the solid electrolyte layer are covered with an insulating layer made of a thermoplastic insulating material.

The linking portion () is provided with an open hole (), an edge of the open hole () overlapping the second horizontal portion (), and a tip portion of the anode lead () being fitted into the open hole ().

Solid electrolytic capacitor and method for manufacturing the same

A solid electrolytic capacitor using a conductive polymer compound as a solid electrolyte includes an anode body, a dielectric oxide coating formed on a surface of the anode body, a sulfone group-containing silanol derivative layer formed on at least a portion of the dielectric oxide coating by a coupling reaction, and a conductive polymer compound layer formed at least on the sulfone group-containing silanol derivative layer. With this, a solid electrolytic capacitor having a low ESR and a high capacitance and a method of manufacturing the solid electrolytic capacitor can be provided.

Solid electrolytic capacitor method of manufacturing the same

A solid electrolytic capacitor formed with a dielectric coating and a solid electrolyte layer successively formed on a surface of an anode body, wherein the solid electrolyte layer includes a conductive polymer containing at least a fluoroalkylnaphthalenesulfonate ion as a dopant. The conductive polymer can further contain a tetrahydronaphthalenesulfonate ion, a naphthalenesulfonate ion or a benzenesulfonate ion as the dopant. As a result, a solid electrolytic capacitor having a low ESR and a good heat resistance is provided.
