A washing machine is provided. The washing machine includes an input shaft, configured to supply a rotary power to a rotation part for rotating washings; a motor, configured to rotate in a forward and backward direction and served as a power source of the rotation part; a transmission arranged between an output shaft of the motor and the input shaft of the rotation part. The transmission includes a transformable driving side pulley unit disposed on the output shaft; a transformable driven side pulley unit disposed on the input shaft; a driving belt for  transferring power between the pulley unit.  The driving side pulley unit/driven side pulley unit is directly installed on the output shaft/input shaft by locating each end of the output shaft/input shaft at a movable pulley and a fixed pulley respectively, so that the driving side pulley unit/driven side pulley unit rotates integrally with the output shaft/input shaft.

Washing machine

A washing machine, which does not have a narrowed portion on a throw-in and takeout route of washings, so that washings can be thrown in and taken out smoothly. The washing machine of the present invention comprises: an inner tub for accommodating washings; an outer tub for accommodating the inner tub; a housing comprising a housing body that is configured to accommodate the outer tub and is open at the upper end, a fixed lid fixed to the upper end of the housing body, and a movable lid that is movably disposed on the fixed lid, makes the upper end of the housing body selectively open towards the outside, and is capable of forming a lid side opening for making an inner tub side opening formed on the upper end of the inner tub open upwards; and a water supply unit provided on the fixed lid and used for supplying water to the inner tub, wherein the inner circumference of the lid side opening has a shape and size that make the inner tub side opening substantially open upwards.

The inventive washing/drying machine is capable of cleaning water while performing a laundry process, and uses water filtered by a filter for dehumidification in a drying process, thereby achieving water saving. The washing/drying machine () includes a washing tub (), a water circulation passage () through which water is circulated from the washing tub (), a circulation pump () provided in the water circulation passage, a filter unit () for filtering the water circulated through the water circulation passage to trap foreign matter, a gas-liquid mixer () for mixing cleaning air containing ozone generated by an ozone generator () with the circulated water, a drying air duct () for use in the drying process, air blowing/heating means () for circulating air from the washing tub () through the drying air duct () in the drying process, a duct water supply passage () for supplying the water filtered by the filter unit () to the drying air duct () for dehumidification, and a drying pump () for pumping out the water filtered by the filter unit () through the duct water supply passage.
