A tire vulcanization system is configured to deliver a vulcanized tire carried out from a vulcanizer by a tire conveyance device to a PCI device at a first position, and attaches an upper lid. The PCI device mounted with the upper lid is moved from the first position to a second position by a PCI moving portion. The tire conveyance device is configured to receive the raw tire disposed above the PCI device moved to the second position and carry the raw tire into the vulcanizer.

A tire vulcanizing method comprises: a step of causing a connecting body, at which an upper mold of a vulcanization mold is supported and that connects together upper end portions of upper tubes of a plurality of supporting pillars, the supporting pillars being disposed so as to be apart in a peripheral direction at a periphery of the vulcanization mold, which is formed from a lower mold and the upper mold, which is set above the lower mold, and the supporting pillars having lower tubes that are hollow and the upper tubes, which are hollow and are slidably engaged with the lower tubes, and the supporting pillars extending in a vertical direction, to, together with the upper tubes and the upper mold, approach the lower mold, and close the vulcanization mold; and a step of vulcanizing an unvulcanized tire that is accommodated at an interior of the vulcanization mold that is closed, wherein the causing the connecting body, the upper tubes and the upper mold to approach the lower mold is carried out by operating raising/lowering mechanisms that are accommodated at interiors of the supporting pillars.

A tire support device includes: a first rim support portion; a second rim support portion which is provided so as to oppose the first rim support portion; a frame which includes a guide which movably guides the second rim support portion in a direction approaching or separating from the first rim support portion; a transport portion which is movably attached along the guide; a drive portion which moves the transport portion along the guide; an engagement mechanism which can engage with the frame at a retreat position at which the second rim support portion is separated from the first rim support portion; and a supported portion which integrally supports the second rim support portion and the transport portion in a movable manner along the guide in a state where engagement with the engagement mechanism is released.

What is provided is a tire vulcanizer, in which the stress force during engagement of the teeth can be reduced and teeth damage can be suppressed, allowing down-sizing, light-weighting, and simplifying at the same time. It includes: an upper mold attaching part () to which an upper mold is attached; a lower mold attachment part to which a lower mold pressed on the upper mold is attached; a supporting part () that supports the upper mold attaching part () and the lower mold attaching part; a fixed side rack () having first teeth () arranged in a height direction and provided to the supporting part (); a movable-side rack () having second teeth () engaging with the first teeth and provided to the upper mold attaching part (); and a tilting restriction part () restricting tilt of the movable-side rack () derived from the height direction.

Tire vulcanizer

A tire holding mechanism includes a first support body, a second support body and a moving device. The first support body is provided with a substantially annular first flange which supports a first bead at one side of the tire, a lock shaft having a lock mechanism and which protrudes in an axial direction of the first flange to allow the first flange to move in the axial direction, and a stopper which restrains the first flange at the proximal end of the lock shaft. The second support body is provided with a substantially annular second flange which supports a second bead of the tire, and an engagement portion with which the lock mechanism is removably engaged. The moving device moves the first support body between a tire holding position and a tire transferring position. The lock mechanism is engaged with the engagement portion at the tire holding position.

In a center mechanism of a tire vulcanizing machine, including an upper clamp ring for grasping an upper opening end part of a bladder, a lower clamp ring for grasping a lower opening end part of the bladder, a hub on a side of a lower mold for supporting the lower clamp ring, a spacer connected to the hub and supported on the side of the lower mold to be ascendable and descendable, and a center post supported by the spacer to be extensible and contractible, the hub and the spacer are formed as members separate from each other, and are divisibly bound to each other by bolts.

A container mold exchanging apparatus includes: a container support body which supports the jacket of the container from which the lower sidewall mold is separated; a gripping mechanism which includes upper and lower gripping members and grips each tread mold so as to be interposed between the upper and lower gripping members in the vertical direction; first and second driving mechanisms which respectively elevate the upper and lower gripping members; a third driving mechanism which expands or contracts the upper and lower gripping members in the radial direction of the container; and a fourth driving mechanism which moves the gripping mechanism along the axis of the container relative to the container support body.

Disclosed is a tire vulcanizing apparatus including: upper and lower circular plates, to which sidewall dies for forming side portions of a tire are attached; respectively; and plural segments, to which tread dies separated as plural pieces for forming a tread portion of the tire are attached; respectively, in which apparatus, the upper and lower circular plates are held by engagement of lug portions, formed respectively on upper and lower portions of the segments, with protrusions on outer circumferential portions of the upper and lower circular plates so as to prevent the upper and lower circular plates from moving away from each other, the apparatus being constituted by providing adjustment plates, used for maintaining a measurement between the upper and lower circular plates, to an interface between the protrusion of each of the upper and lower circular plates and a corresponding one of the lug portions of each segment.
