An order processing system for performing reproduction processing according to a reproduction processing order by receiving an input image and the reproduction processing order of the input image is provided. The system has a management unit and an execution unit. The management unit is for generating per order a piece of job instruction information to instruct process contents, a process execution sequence, and a process execution destination for reproduction processing according to contents of the reproduction processing order, and managing an execution of the reproduction processing. The execution unit has a plurality of components for executing one or more of a plurality of steps of the reproduction processing, for receiving the input image and the job instruction information and executing the reproduction processing according to the job instruction information.

Order processing system for performing image reproduction processing in response to order for reproducing digital image data

An index printer in which density correction can be reliably effected and in which an appropriate image can be printed is obtained. When a standard image data such as a so-called Bull's eye is input from an image memory to a gray image processing portion of a sub-control portion, data which is greater than a predetermined threshold value Q is extracted from the standard image data and is averaged so as to set a standard gray image. The set standard gray image is displayed on a whole surface of a display surface of a liquid crystal panel via a liquid crystal panel driver, and is printed onto a photographic printing paper by a light source.

Index printer having density correction using a standard image

A method of correcting the light amount irregularities for a photographic printer in which an image displayed on a two-dimensional display unit is exposed by transmitting or reflecting the light from a light source through or from the two-dimensional display unit is disclosed. An LED light source is turned on with a predetermined driving voltage applied to all the pixels of a liquid crystal panel. The image on the liquid crystal panel is exposed for a predetermined length of time by the light transmitted through the liquid crystal panel and developed thereby to produce a photographic print. The density at a point corresponding to each pixel of the liquid crystal panel is measured. The light transmittance correction amount for each pixel of the liquid crystal panel is determined in such a manner that the density measured at each point conforms to a predetermined reference density (a minimum value of density measurement, for example). The driving voltage correction data for each pixel of the liquid crystal panel is calculated on the basis of the light transmittance correction amount thus determined.
