A first fixing member which fixes to a membrane module unit a tubular member with a protrusion formed at a tip end or near the tip end for connecting a membrane module of the membrane module unit and a water collecting header to form a filtrate flow path from the membrane module to the water collecting header, the first fixing member includes: a fixing member main body which includes an engaging surface formed at a position at which the fixing member main body engages with the protrusion formed in the tubular member; and a second fixing member which fixes the fixing member main body to the membrane module unit.

Disclosed is a membrane module unit in which a plurality of membrane modules is coupled together in parallel by coupling means, the membrane module including a sheet-like filter membrane and holding frame members that hold the filter membrane at two opposed sides of a peripheral edge of the filter membrane, wherein the coupling means clamps the holding frame members at the same sides of the filter membranes together by two opposed clamping members. According to the invention, provided is a membrane module unit in which structure is simple, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance can be easily performed, and a plurality of membrane modules can be reliably coupled together. The present invention relates to a method for producing a hollow fiber membrane sheet-like object including: a connecting process of forming a ring-shaped section by winding a hollow fiber membrane capable of being continuously supplied, around two or more rolls so as to surround the two or more rolls and connecting a leading end portion of the wound hollow fiber membrane and an adjacent hollow fiber membrane, or of putting a ring-shaped section created in advance, on two or more rolls, and connecting a leading end portion of a hollow fiber membrane capable of being continuously supplied, to the ring-shaped section; a winding process of winding the hollow fiber membrane around the rolls by moving the leading end portion of the hollow fiber membrane by rotating at least one roll of the two or more rolls; a fixing process of forming a fixed section by fixing the hollow fiber membrane wound around the two or more rolls, into the form of a sheet in a width direction; and a cutting process of performing cutting-out along the fixed section, thereby obtaining a sheet-like object to which end portions of the hollow fiber membranes are connected in the width direction. According to the present invention, a hollow fiber membrane sheet-like object can be produced with a simple configuration and a change in sheet length can be easily performed.

An air diffuser apparatus component in a membrane filtration unit including an air main pipe connected to an aeration blower(s), liquid supply piping that joins the air main pipe in midstream, a branch conduit horizontally connected through a gas supply pipe branched from the air main pipe, and a plurality of air diffusion pipes horizontally to the branch pipe conduit, each diffusion pipe having diffusion holes opening substantially vertically downward, is cleaned. A membrane filter unit includes a hollow fiber membrane module with a plurality of sheet-like hollow fiber membrane elements arrayed in parallel at predetermined intervals, each of the hollow fiber membrane elements obtained by arranging a great number of porous hollow fiber membranes in parallel, and an air diffuser arranged below the hollow fiber membrane module for releasing minute bubbles toward a lower end of the hollow fiber membrane module and generating a gas-liquid mixed flow vertically swirling between an inner space and an outer space of the hollow fiber membrane module. The membrane filter unit has a residue eliminating mechanism for forming a forced flow in part of the mixed flow between the porous hollow fiber membranes and between the sheet-like hollow fiber membrane elements of the fiber membrane module.

In a hollow fiber membrane flat module according to the present invention, both ends of hollow fiber membrane bundle which are formed by bundling a plurality of hollow fiber membrane as a sheet are fixed to two housing separately by a fixing resin while maintaining an opening condition in an opening end section in the follow fiber membrane. Factors such as an air bubble, and the entanglement of the hollow fiber membranes is restricted; thus, a hollow fiber membrane is not damaged. Also, in the hollow fiber membrane module, it is preferable that the housing is provided with a reinforcing rib section which strengthens the housing.

An object of the present invention is to provide a production apparatus for a hollow fiber membrane module without a risk of deteriorating characteristics of the hollow fiber membranes to be used, with the module case and the hollow fiber membranes bonded and fixed with a potting resin in a highly fluid-tight or airtight manner, and a production method thereof. A centrifugal type production apparatus () for the hollow fiber membrane module, for bonding and fixing at least one end part of the hollow fiber membrane stored in the module case and the module case with each other with the potting resin by utilizing a centrifugal force. The centrifugal force is applied by driving a centrifugal machine () while supporting an end part potting working part () of the hollow fiber membrane module () by a fixing jig (). The fixing jig () comprising a heating means () and a temperature detecting means () controlling a heating capacity of the heating means () based on a difference between a temperature of the fixing jig () detected by the temperature detecting means () and a setting temperature of the fixing jig () preliminarily set in a temperature accuracy range of &#xb1;4&#xb0; C. to the setting temperature. It is also possible to reduce a pressure of the potting working part () with a pressure reducing mechanism () simultaneously with the centrifugal force application for further preventing generation of leakage of the potting resin.
