On a partition wall splitting the interior of a case into a gear chamber and a motor chamber, a through hole and a gutter member are provided. The through hole is provided for communication between the gear chamber and the motor chamber. The gutter member extends into the gear chamber below the through hole, and a tip end part thereof is provided above an oil storage part. Oil guided from the motor chamber into the gear chamber through the through hole of the partition wall is guided to the oil storage part through the gutter member, so that, for the oil storage part provided at a wall part not the partition wall of the case and not in contact with the partition wall, more oil can be stored.

Lubrication structure of power transmission device

A driving device includes a first one-way clutch OWCprovided on a power transmission path between a driving source and a driven portion which becomes in an engaged state when rotational power in one direction of the driving source side is input to the driven portion side and becomes in a disengaged state when rotational power in the other direction of the driving source side is input to the driven portion side and which becomes in a disengaged state when rotational power in one direction of the driven portion side is input to the driving source side and becomes in an engaged state when rotational power in the other direction of the driven portion side is input to the driving source side, a connection/disconnection unit which is provided in parallel with the first one-way clutch OWCon the power transmission path, and a second one-way clutch OWCprovided in parallel with the first one-way clutch OWCand in series with the connection/disconnection unit on the power transmission path which performs an operation opposite to that of the first one-way clutch OWC

Driving device

A vehicle drive apparatus includes a motor, a case, a cover member, a sensor, and a separate member. The case includes a reservoir to store liquid fluid. The sensor is provided in a first communication hole of the cover member and is fixed to the cover member. A second communication hole constitutes a part of a fluid flow path extending from an inside of the case to an outside of the case. The fluid flow path has an intake port through which the liquid fluid is to be drawn. The fluid flow path includes an inside fluid flow path provided from the second communication hole to the intake port. The separate member is fixed to the cover member to define the inside fluid flow path.

Vehicle drive apparatus

In a vehicular driving force distribution system, an oil pump which produces a hydraulic pressure for operating a torque distribution mechanism is driven, via gears and a rotating shaft, by the rotation of a differential case of a differential device. Therefore, regardless of the rotational condition of right and left wheels, namely, even if one of the right and left wheels stops, the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the rotating differential case, thereby reliably operating the torque distribution mechanism. Also, a pump unit for housing the oil pump is supported on a partition wall that separates the differential device from the torque distribution mechanism, thereby easily supporting the oil pump.
