An engagement structure includes a cover having an opening portion, a block member inserted into the opening portion, an engagement mechanism configured to engage the block member with the opening portion, and an engagement stabilization mechanism configured to stabilize an engagement state of the engagement mechanism. The engagement stabilization mechanism includes a first stabilization mechanism and a second stabilization mechanism. The first stabilization mechanism permits excessive insertion due to backlash that occurs in the engagement mechanism and to restore the excessive insertion after the block member is engaged with the opening portion. The second stabilization mechanism performs a slide engagement between the block member and the opening portion and to restrict a wall inner surface of the cover from moving away from an outer surface of a side portion of the block member after the slide engagement is completed.

A ratting prevention structure is provided. Further, an electronic component module, an electrical connection box, and a wire harness which adopt the ratting prevention structure are provided. The electronic component module includes a cover having a rectangular opening portion, a connector block inserted into the opening portion of the cover, and an engagement mechanism engaging the block member with the opening portion of the cover. The rattling prevention structure is used to prevent rattling between the cover and the block member. In the rattling prevention structure, four pressing protrusions are formed at any one of four corner parts of the cover and four corner portions of the block member at the opening portion. The four pressing protrusions are configured to bend four walls of the cover inward while displacing the four corner parts of the cover outward.

A substrate holding structure includes holding units and protrusions. The holding units are provided to a casing that includes an accommodating unit accommodating therein an inserted substrate, and hold an end part of the substrate accommodated in the accommodating unit on the insertion direction-entrance side of the substrate. The protrusions protrude from side wall surfaces that are wall surfaces of the casing along the insertion direction of the substrate, the wall surfaces being opposed to the side surfaces of the substrate, and are plastically deformed due to contact with the substrate to be inserted into the accommodating unit.

A substrate terminal includes at least one substrate connection portion that is inserted into a hole portion in a substrate from one surface side of the substrate and is soldered together with the hole portion, a terminal connection portion into which an opposite-side terminal is inserted in a direction same as an insertion direction of the substrate connection portion into the hole portion and that is connected to the opposite-side terminal, an intermediate portion that connects the substrate connection portion and the terminal connection portion, and at least one substrate abutting portion that is made to project in a direction orthogonal to the insertion direction and is made to abut against the one surface of the substrate with the substrate connection portion and the hole portion soldered. The substrate abutting portion is formed on a base member by bending processing.

A spare-fuse holding structure holds a spare fuse including a pair of terminals exposed on both sides of a fuse resin main body serving as a resin main part of the spare fuse in a resin housing chamber. The spare-fuse holding structure includes a resin guide portion configured to guide, when the spare fuse is inserted into the resin housing chamber in a manner inclined with respect to the insertion direction, the spare fuse into the resin housing chamber while changing a posture of the spare fuse in the insertion direction by coming into contact with the fuse resin main body to prevent the pair of terminals from coming into contact with resin walls forming the resin housing chamber.

The present invention is to provide a plate member which can improve material yield. The plate member forms a bus bar attached to a box main body of an electric junction box and includes a first terminal portion, a second terminal portion, and a connection coupling the first terminal portion to the second terminal portion. The plate member includes a first terminal portion equivalent corresponding to the first terminal portion, a second terminal portion equivalent corresponding to the second terminal portion, and arranged with a space against the first terminal portion equivalent along a longitudinal direction of a first terminal equivalent, and a connection equivalent corresponding to the connection. The connection equivalent couples the first terminal equivalent to the second terminal equivalent so that longitudinal directions of the first and second terminal equivalents are arranged parallel to each other.

The invention provides an electric junction box with an enhanced thermal insulation between neighboring part-receiving chambers without causing excessive increase in the size of a case. In order to attain the objective, there is provided an electric junction box, which includes a case provided with a case body, a lower cover coupled to the lower end of the case body, and first and second upper covers and coupled to the upper end of the case body. The case includes neighboring first and second part-receiving chambers and. A through-hole is located between the first and second part-receiving chambers and extends from an upper end of the case to a lower end of the case. The through-hole has an enlarging portion, which is disposed at a lower end thereof and has increasing cross-sectional area as approaching to the lower end of the through-hole.

An electrical junction box includes a junction-box body having at least an outlet for discharging a liquid inside thereof to an outside thereof; and a bracket provided between the junction-box body and a vehicle-body panel. The bracket is adapted to attach the junction-box body to the vehicle-body panel such that the bracket resides in a lower space relative to the junction-box body in a vertical direction. The bracket includes a throughhole communicating with the outlet and adapted to guide the liquid from the outlet to the outside. The bracket may include a plurality of ribs spaced from each other and upstanding in a shape of a plate toward the vehicle-body panel such that the outlet is provided between the ribs. The ribs may be connected to each other via a foot of the bracket upstanding in a shape of a plate toward the vehicle-body panel.
