A rotor for a rotary electric machine, the rotor including a rotor core that has a magnet hole; a permanent magnet inserted into the magnet hole; and an adhesive layer provided between the permanent magnet and a wall surface of the magnet hole and including a plurality of capsule bodies therein, the adhesive layer fixing the permanent magnet to the wall surface of the magnet hole, wherein the adhesive layer is provided only on a wall surface of the magnet hole on a first side, which is one of a wall surface of the magnet hole on an inner side in a radial direction and a wall surface on an outer side in the radial direction.

Rotor for rotary electric machine and manufacturing method

In a rotor for the dynamo, the interior circumference face of a rotor core main body makes contact in a thermally transmissible manner with a rotor axle, and the rotor axle includes a cooling medium circulation space. The rotor is provided with a cooling medium supply member, which supplies the cooling medium to the cooling medium circulation space. The cooling medium supply member is provided with a cooling medium supply path that extends in the rotor axle direction, and cooling medium supply holes that extend externally in the direction of the rotor diameter. The cooling medium supply holes are provided with supply apertures that open toward the cooling interior circumference face. The rotor axle is provided with cooling medium discharge holes that extend externally in the direction of the rotor diameter. The cooling medium discharge holes are provided with discharge apertures that open externally in the diameter direction.

A vehicle drive device having an input member coupled to an internal combustion engine; an output member coupled to a wheel; a first rotating electrical machine; a second rotating electrical machine; and a differential gear unit having at least three rotating elements. A dog engagement device is provided on a power transmission path between the input member and an input rotating element. The engagement device includes a state selecting member that switches a state among three states, which are a first state where the input rotating element and the input member are coupled and the input rotating element and a non-rotating member are not coupled, a second state where the input rotating element coupled with both the input member and the non-rotating member, and a third state where the input rotating element and the non-rotating member are coupled.

A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor which has a rotor core formed by stacking magnetic plates having an annular plate shape in an axial direction, a permanent magnet is inserted into a magnet insertion hole formed in the rotor core, and a rotor shaft is inserted into a shaft insertion hole surrounded by an inner peripheral surface of the rotor core; and a stator. A radial communication passage is formed by a communication penetration hole group that is formed by sequentially communicating a plurality of the penetration holes from a shaft insertion hole to a magnetic resistance hole in the radial direction. The plurality of the penetration holes are divided into at least two specific magnetic plates and formed such that the radial positions of the penetration holes are different from each other and the penetration holes partially overlap each other when viewed in the axial direction.

Rotating electrical machine having radial communication passages in permanent magnet rotor

A vehicle drive device configured with reduced axial dimensions, while still having appropriate lubrication. The vehicle drive device is configured with an input shaft coupled to an engine, a rotary electric machine, and an output shaft coupled to wheels. A power transfer mechanism couples input shaft, the rotary electric machine, and the output shaft. A case houses at least the rotary electric machine and the power transfer mechanism. An oil reserving portion capable of reserving oil supplied by rotation of the power transfer mechanism is provided above the rotor shaft inside the case. A communication oil passage is oriented between the oil reserving portion and an inner circumferential space formed inside the rotor shaft. The rotor shaft is disposed to be inserted into the inside housing space, and has a supply communication hole that communicates between the inner circumferential space and the inside housing space.

A vehicle drive including an input coupled to an engine, an output coupled to wheels, an intermediate member between the input and output and coupled to a rotary electric machine, a friction engagement device between the input and intermediate member, and a control device. The control device, when starting the engine with the friction engagement device disengaged, engages the friction engagement device when a rotational speed difference between the input and intermediate member is equal to or less than a predetermined value; raises a rotational speed of the input using the rotary electric machine with the friction engagement device engaged to start the engine; and, when a rotational speed of the engine is equal to or more than a predetermined value, reduces an engagement pressure of the friction engagement device and the friction engagement device is returned to the engaged state when the rotational speed difference reaches a threshold.

An armature for a rotating electrical machine, the armature includes a cylindrical core having a plurality of longitudinally extending slots that are dispersedly arranged in a circumferential direction; and coils wound around the slots, wherein each of the slots is formed such that an inner circumferential opening thereof that is open radially inwardly is smaller in a circumferential width than a slot interior positioned on a radially outer side of the inner circumferential opening, and linear conductors forming the coils are each formed to be larger in the circumferential width than the inner circumferential opening.

Armature for rotating electrical machine and manufacturing method thereof

A drive device includes a rotating electrical machine; a planetary gear unit positioned radially inside the rotating electrical machine so as to axially overlap the rotating electrical machine; a through shaft extending radially inside and through a sun gear of the planetary gear unit; and a case that accommodates the rotating electrical machine and the planetary gear unit. The through shaft is supported by the case on both axial sides of the planetary gear unit, and a rotor of the rotating electrical machine is connected integrally with the sun gear and is rotatably supported at two axial positions, the rotor is supported at a first axial position of the two axial positions by the case, and the rotor is supported at a second axial position of the two axial positions at a position radially inside the sun gear by the through shaft.

Drive device that is reduced in size while maintaining high axial center accuracy of a rotor shaft

Lubricating oil supply holes are drilled into a first member that is fitted to a plurality of first annular plates by a spline. Of splines to which each lubricating oil supply hole corresponds, lubricating oil grooves provided in the plurality of first annular plates do not overlap the splines on at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the first annular plates, and therefore lubricating oil flowing out of the lubricating oil supply holes is dispersed in a circumferential direction and flows from the inner periphery to the outer periphery of the first annular plates, rather than gathering in each lubricating oil groove and flowing in an outer peripheral direction. As a result, a force generated by an axial lubricating oil flow, which acts in a direction for causing the second annular plates to contact friction materials on the first annular plates, is suppressed, leading to a reduction in drag torque.

A system for control of the discharge pressure of an input clutch hydraulic servo at the time of a D&rarr;N shift, in which the peak value (DN_Omega_max) rate of change of the rotational speed of an input shaft increases if the initial value (DN sol Sweep Start SLT signal) of the pressure adjusting control becomes high or low. A convergence region (DN_Omega_limit_max) is provided. On the basis of comparison between the previous peak value (DN_Omega_max_ave1) and the present peak value (DN_Omega_max_ave2), and the direction of correction, the learning is performed in accordance with various maps in a direction toward the convergence region.

Hydraulic pressure control apparatus of automatic transmission

A planetary carrier supports pinion gears of a planetary gear set via pinion shafts. Each hole in which a pinion shaft is mounted has a shallow hardened wall surface that is hardened by very-high-frequency induction heating and quenching. Therefore, the durability of the pinion shaft-supporting holes of a cold-forged piece or a pressed piece can be improved without thermal strain.

During an upshift in a full-throttle state, the output of a shift command (Us ) from a control unit is followed by a delay in initiation of an actual shift, due to a delay in increase in oil pressure, a rise in the clutch torque load, etc. A shift initiation (Uj) is determined by comparing the input rotational speed (Ni) with the product of multiplication of the output rotational speed (vehicle speed) (No) by the pre-shift gear ratio. The shift point (Mp ) is learning-corrected based on the shift initiation-time engine rotational speed (NeI). Therefore, false learning is avoided even if the engine races during a shift.

Speed shift control and apparatus for control of automatic transmission

The automatic transmission of the present invention prevents fluctuation of torque transmission through a band brake. In the hydraulic operator for the band brake, a resilient elastic cushion is provided between a rod abutting one end of the band of the band brake and a piston. Any slippage between the band and drum of the band brake will result in oscillation of the rod. However, the elastic cushion absorbs oscillation of the rod, thereby isolating the piston from that oscillation.

Automatic transmission with band brake and hydraulic operator

A learning controller makes learning correction based on a time t,between start of a shift control routine and detection of start of a change in rotational speed of the transmission input shaft and further based on the amount of rotational speed change &ohgr;,&prime; at the detected start of the rotational speed change. When the time t,is longer than a basic time and when the rotational change amount &ohgr;,&prime; is too large, it is determined that a servo piston has not been sufficiently advanced and the shift control is corrected so that the time t,is lengthened. When the time t,to the detected start of the rotational speed change &ohgr;,&prime; is too small, it is determined that, while the piston has been advanced properly, the target engagement pressure P,in torque phase control is too low because of a miscalculation, and the shift control is corrected so that the target engagement pressure is raised.

Hydraulic control system for automatic transmission

In a multiple speed-change operation for switching between an up-shift operation and a down-shift operation, engine torque control is adapted to an actual change in speed-change state, whereby an abrupt change in rotational speed of the input shaft is prevented. One embodiment relates to a speed-change operation from the second speed to the third speed, wherein the engagement-side hydraulic pressure B,rises and the release-side hydraulic pressure B,drops, the rotational speed N,of the input shaft changes from a second speed state toward a third speed state and the engine torque T,is reduced by a predetermined amount TCU. If a command to perform a speed-change operation from the third speed to the second speed is issued during the aforementioned speed-change operation from the second speed to the third speed, control of the hydraulic pressures is switched to the speed-change operation from the third speed to the second speed. If it is detected because of the hydraulic pressure control that the direction of the change &ohgr; in rotational speed of the input shaft has changed toward the second speed, it is determined that the speed-change operation has actually started. Then, the torque reduction operation is suspended, and the torque is gradually restored.
