A vehicle equipped with an electric motor includes an electric motor, an electrical storage device, an air-conditioning device, a heat source cooling circuit and a controller. The air-conditioning device includes a heater core, an air conditioning hot liquid circuit that causes a thermal medium liquid to flow through the heater core, and a temperature raising device that raises a temperature of the thermal medium liquid and cause electric power consumption. When regenerative braking is performed by the electric motor when a state of charge of the electrical storage device is a predetermined value or more, the controller raises a temperature of the thermal medium liquid using the temperature raising device and switches connection and shutting between the air conditioning hot liquid circuit and the heat source cooling circuit according to a temperature of the thermal medium liquid in the air conditioning hot liquid circuit and the heat source cooling circuit.

A stop control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of ensuring the comfort of vehicle occupants in a vehicle compartment and improving the fuel economy of the engine along with automatic stoppage of the engine during both a cooling operation and a heating operation of an air conditioner. When the engine is automatically stopped, the stop control system sets a target blowout temperature which is a target value of the temperature of air blown out from the air conditioner into a vehicle compartment, and acquires a fan voltage indicative of the air volume blown by a fan of the air conditioner. Further, the stop control system calculates stop allowable time based on the target blowout temperature and the fan voltage, and restarts the engine when engine stoppage time period (stoppage time period-counting timer value) has reached the stop allowable time.

Stop control system for internal combustion engine

A control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of properly determining timing for restarting the engine in a stopped state when idle stop control of the engine is executed during a heating operation of an air conditioner, thereby making it possible to ensure marketability and fuel economy performance in a well-balanced manner. The control system executes the idle stop control of the engine during the heating operation of the air conditioner. The control system includes an ECU. The ECU sets a lower limit blowout temperature, calculates an estimated blowout temperature, and controls the engine such that the engine is restarted when the estimated blowout temperature has become not higher than the lower limit blowout temperature.

Control system for internal combustion engine

A stop control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of restarting the engine automatically stopped, in optimum timing, thereby making it possible to positively prevent occurrence of fogging of window glass of a vehicle compartment and improve fuel economy. The engine is connected to a compressor of an air conditioner. According to the stop control system, during idle stop, window glass temperature is calculated, and according to the calculated window glass temperature, limit humidity below which fogging of the window glass does not occur is set. When determining compartment humidity becomes equal to or higher than the limit humidity, the idle stop is terminated and the engine is restarted. When the weather is rainy or snowy, the determining compartment humidity is corrected. When vehicle compartment temperature is not lower than a first predetermined temperature, the window glass temperature is corrected.

A vehicle air conditioner includes an air-conditioning ECU. The air-conditioning ECU performs a cooling mode operation in which air is cooled by an interior heat exchanger in a cooling refrigeration cycle. The air-conditioning ECU performs a heating mode operation, in which air is heated by the interior heat exchanger in a hot gas heater cycle. The air-conditioning ECU performs an air blowing operation in which air is blown toward an inner surface of a windshield of the vehicle without operating the compressor before performing a refrigerant collecting operation.
