The present disclosure provides a high-pressure hydrogen apparatus gas seal member which is excellent in durability and is capable of sufficiently suppressing an occurrence of a blister fracture. A high-pressure hydrogen apparatus gas seal member of the present disclosure is a high-pressure hydrogen apparatus gas seal member made of a crosslinked product of an elastomer composition which comprises an elastomer and fibrous carbon nanostructures having an average length of 100 μm or more and 1000 μm or less, wherein the fibrous carbon nanostructures have a surface fractal dimension of 2.3 or more and 3.0 or less or a radius of gyration of 50 nm or more and 500 nm or less, and further the fibrous carbon nanostructures has an inner diameter of 4.0 nm or less.

High-pressure hydrogen apparatus gas seal member and high-pressure hydrogen apparatus

Provided is a seal material having excellent non-adherence to metal surfaces. The seal material is formed of a cross-linked rubber that is obtained through cross-linking of a cross-linkable rubber composition containing a binary fluororubber, a carbon material, and a polyol cross-linker. The carbon material includes one or more carbon nanotubes. The cross-linked rubber has an adhesion strength of 2 N or less to a metal surface after being heated at 250° C. for 70 hours while in contact with the metal surface.

Disclosed is a gas seal member for high-pressure hydrogen device with sufficiently reduced occurrence of both swelling destruction and blister destruction. The gas seal member is formed of a cross-linked product of an elastomer composition which comprises an elastomer and fibrous carbon nanostructures, wherein a hydrogen diffusion coefficient D1 of a cross-linked product of an elastomer component including the elastomer and a hydrogen diffusion coefficient D2 of the cross-linked product of the elastomer composition satisfy the relationship 0.7&#x3c;D2/D1&#x3c;1.0.

Provided is a method of producing a slurry that enables simple production of a slurry in which fibrous carbon nanostructures are favorably dispersed. The method of producing a slurry includes: a mixing step of mixing resin particles having an average particle diameter of at least 1 &#x3bc;m and not more than 700 &#x3bc;m, fibrous carbon nanostructures, and a dispersion medium to obtain a mixed liquid; and a dispersing step of subjecting the mixed liquid to dispersion treatment using a wet medialess disperser under conditions in which pressure acting on the mixed liquid (gauge pressure) is 5 MPa or less to obtain a slurry. The fibrous carbon nanostructures preferably include carbon nanotubes.

Provided is a composition for a gas seal member that can form a gas seal member for a high-pressure hydrogen device that is capable of sufficiently inhibiting both swelling destruction and blister destruction. The composition for a gas seal member is a composition for a gas seal member used in a high-pressure hydrogen environment and contains an elastomer and fibrous carbon nanostructures. The fibrous carbon nanostructures are contained in a proportion of not less than 1 part by mass and not more than 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the elastomer. An area fraction S (%) of aggregates of the fibrous carbon nanostructures in a cross-section of the composition for a gas seal member and a volume percentage V (volume %) of the fibrous carbon nanostructures in the composition for a gas seal member satisfy a relationship 0&#x2264;S/V&#x2264;2.0.

Disclosed is a rubber composition which comprises a rubber, fibrous carbon nanostructures and a filler, wherein, in a state where the filler is dispersed in the rubber composition, the filler is mainly present as aggregates each formed of a plurality of primary particles aggregated with each other, and the aggregates have an average maximum diameter of 100 nm or more and 1,000 nm or less.

Provided is a method of producing a composite resin material that has excellent shapeability and enables supply of a shaped product having good properties. The method of producing a composite resin material includes: a mixing step of mixing a fluororesin, fibrous carbon nanostructures, and a dispersion medium to obtain a slurry; and a formation step of removing the dispersion medium from the slurry and forming a particulate composite resin material. The particulate composite resin material has a D50 diameter of at least 20 &#x3bc;m and not more than 500 &#x3bc;m and a D90 diameter/D10 diameter value of at least 1.2 and not more than 15. The D10 diameter, D50 diameter, and D90 diameter are particle diameters respectively corresponding to cumulative volumes of 10%, 50%, and 90% calculated from a small particle end of a particle diameter distribution of the particulate composite resin material.

Disclosed is a fluorinated elastomer composition which comprises a fluorinated elastomer and fibrous carbon nanostructures, wherein the fibrous carbon nanostructures include single-walled carbon nanotubes, and the fibrous carbon nanostructures are contained in an amount of 0.1 parts by mass or more and less than 5.0 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the fluorinated elastomer. There is provided a ring-opening polymer of cyclopentene wherein a cis ratio of cyclopentene-derived structural units is 30% or more, the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 100,000 to 1,000,000, and an oxysilyl group is included at an end of the polymer chain. For example, the ring-opening polymer of cyclopentene can be obtained by ring opening polymerization of cyclopentene in the presence of a compound of a transition metal belonging to Group 6 in the Periodic Table, an organoaluminum compound represented by the following general formula (1), and an olefinically unsaturated hydrocarbon containing an oxysilyl group.(R)Al(OR)&#x2003;&#x2003;(1) (in the general formula (1), Rand Rrepresent a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms and x satisfies the requirement 0&#x3c;x&#x3c;3.)

[Problems] To provide a stretched film of an addition polymer consisting of norbornene compounds favorable for use in manufacturing steps of electric insulating parts and optical parts that exhibits excellent film stability, does not suffer from coloration and has a low linear expansion coefficient. [Means for Solving Problems] A stretched film of an addition polymer consisting of norbornene compounds produced by stretching a film of the addition polymer consisting of norbornene compounds and having a linear expansion coefficient of at most 50 ppm/&#xb0; C. The draw ratio is preferably from 1.2 times to 10 times. The stretched film is preferably a non-crosslinked film. A method for producing the stretched film comprises stretching a film of the addition polymer consisting of norbornene compounds at least in one direction in an inert gas atmosphere within a temperature range of the glass transition temperature (Tg) thereof &#xb1;50&#xb0; C., or stretching a film of the addition polymer consisting of norbornene compounds containing an organic compound having a specific boiling point at least in one direction.

A film comprising a norbornene (NB) compound addition polymer that is excellent in chemical resistance, optical properties and the like, has a high Tg, a low water absorption ratio and a low linear expansion coefficient, and is soluble in an ordinary solvent.
