A circuit includes a first transistor whose gate is connected to a set terminal and whose source or drain is connected to an internal node, a second transistor connected such that one of a source and a drain is electrically connected to the internal node and the other one of the source and the drain is electrically connected to a reference voltage source, a third transistor connected such that a gate is connected to the internal node, one of a source and a drain is connected to a clock terminal, and the other one of the source and the drain is connected to a first output terminal, a bootstrap capacitor which is connected to the internal node and the first output terminal, and a stabilization circuit that suppresses a drop in potential at the internal node in a charging period of the bootstrap capacitor.

Shift register circuit, active matrix substrate, and display apparatus

A shift register circuit includes stages each including a unit circuit. The unit circuit includes: an output transistor; an internal node; and a set transistor. Two of the scan signal lines that are adjacent to each other are turned into a selected state for respective, but partially overlapping select periods. The internal node is precharged over a first precharge period by a first transistor that is the set transistor in the unit circuit in at least one of the stages. The internal node is precharged over a second precharge period by a second transistor that is the set transistor in the unit circuit in at least another one of the stages. The first precharge period is shorter than the second precharge period. The first transistor in some or all of the at least one of the stages has a higher current-drive capability than the second transistor.

Scan signal line drive circuit capable of restraining increased in line memory count and achieving suitable driving

A display panel includes a substrate, a gate metal layer formed on a substrate, an insulating layer that covers the gate metal layer, and a source metal layer formed on the insulating layer. In a driving circuit region, the gate metal layer includes a first electrode and a second electrode separated from each other in a first direction and close to each other. The first electrode is positioned nearer than the second electrode to an active region and has a first side on a side facing the second electrode. The second electrode includes an ESD sacrificial portion. The ESD sacrificial portion includes a first part extending in the first direction and a second part facing the first side and extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction, the second part not overlapping a source metal of the source metal layer.

Display panel

Provided are a drive circuit and a display apparatus capable of making the waveforms of driving signals uniform. The drive circuit comprises a plurality of shift registers each comprising an input end, an output end, and a switching element connected between the input end and the output end. The input ends are respectively connected to a plurality of branch points on an input-signal line arranged on a display panel. The output ends are respectively connected to a plurality of output-signal lines. The drive circuit outputs a driving signal from the output end, on the basis of a signal input through the input end. All or some of the shift registers differ, according to a position of the branch point to which the input end is connected, in resistance value between the input end and the output end while the switching element is ON.

Each of multiple shift registers comprises: an output switching element to which a predetermined clock signal to be input, the output switching element comprising a second controlled terminal is connected to an output node from which a drive signal is output; a first input switching element comprising a first controlled terminal to which a set signal to be input and a second controlled terminal connected to the output switching element; and a control unit for applying a predetermined electric potential to the second controlled terminal of the output switching element, wherein a low-level electric potential of the predetermined clock signal is lower than a low-level electric potential of the drive signal, and the predetermined electric potential is applied to the output switching element when the predetermined clock signal falls.

An information reproduction apparatus includes plural magazines in which optical discs are set, plural drives for performing recording and reproduction on an optical disc set therein, a changer mechanism that transports a magazine between its setting position and one or more drives and mounts and remove a prescribed optical disc or discs in and from the one or more drives by performing either one of a single move process and a multi-move process, and a controller. The controller judges whether to conduct the single move process or the multi-move process based on a reading data list and use statuses of the respective drives.

The source drive circuit is provided on a first bendable edge of the display screen, the first bendable edge having a first curvature, and the gate drive circuit is provided on a second bendable edge of the display screen, the second bendable edge having a second curvature larger than the first curvature.

An optical disc device includes: an optical disc drive that reads data from a plurality of optical discs in which user data is recorded while distributed in the plurality of optical discs; a memory unit in which data read from an optical disc of a first group that is a part of the plurality of optical discs is recorded through the optical disc drive; and a controller that reproduces the user data from data of a remaining optical disc except for the first group, the data of the remaining optical disc being read through the optical disc drive, and the data recorded in the memory unit.

An information recording method of the present disclosure is an information recording method for recording information on a write-once information recording medium, including one or more recording layers, each of the recording layers being spiral-shaped on which a land track and a groove track are alternately repeated as recording tracks, each of the recording tracks being divided into blocks, each of the blocks being a minimum unit in which recording is performed. The information recording method includes: recording the information on the information recording medium in a unit of each of the blocks; and controlling recording on the information recording medium. In the control step, switching is performed whether to perform recording in a block to be recorded in which the information is to be recorded next among the blocks based on recording conditions of the recording tracks adjacent on both sides of the block to be recorded.

Write-once storage medium capable of recording data blocks on both land and groove of spiral track

A data erasing method of the present disclosure is a data erasing method for erasing data stripe-recorded in a plurality of write-once optical discs constituting a redundant arrays of inexpensive disks (RAID) system and each including a plurality of data recording blocks and a redundant data block. In the data erasing method, alternate recording of at least one target block and the redundant data block is performed in a predetermined alternate area. The target block is one of the data recording blocks in which target data as erase target data is recorded. The target block is overwritten such that the target data is not correctly read.

Data erasing method

The optical disk device performs recording/reproducing of data by a predetermined recording block on the track of an optical disk. The device has a recording unit, an optical-head, and a failure detection unit. The recording unit generates a recording signal by modulating the data. The optical-head records data on the track by optical beam emission to the track according to the recording signal, and detects light reflected off the track and then generates a detection signal based on the reflected light. The failure detection unit detects an abnormal condition based on the detection signal changed from a normal condition. If the sum of duration of an abnormal condition in the recording block is equal to or greater than a first time-length, the failure detection unit determines that the recording block has a flaw.
