A control device of a nitrogen oxide sensor comprises a voltage control part configured to control voltage applied to the pump cell, and a temperature estimation part configured to estimate a temperature of the pump cell. The voltage control part is configured to make the voltage applied to the pump cell a voltage of a starting voltage of decomposition of water or more when the estimated temperature of the pump cell estimated by the temperature estimation part is within a predetermined temperature region of less than an activation temperature of the pump cell as control suppressing evaporation.

Control device of nitrogen oxide sensor

A multiple gas detection device comprises: a first cell part provided with a first electrochemical cell; a second cell part provided with a second electrochemical cell; a third cell part provided with a third electrochemical cell; an inlet diffusion controller controlling diffusion of measured gas; and a measured gas chamber into which the measured gas flows through the inlet diffusion controller. The first cell part is configured to selectively detect a concentration of NOor ammonia contained in measured gas in the measured gas chamber. The second cell part is configured to discharge oxygen contained in measured gas in the measured gas chamber and convert NOand ammonia contained in measured gas in the measured gas chamber to NO. The third cell part is configured to detect a concentration of NO contained in measured gas in the measured gas chamber.

Multiple gas detection device

A nitrogen oxide sensor includes a measured gas chamber, a sensor cell, a pump cell, a voltage application circuit, a sensor output detector, a voltage control part, a concentration calculation part, a temperature estimation part, an air-fuel ratio estimation part, and a time calculation part calculating a cumulative value of time periods when the temperature of the pump cell is within a predetermined temperature region and the air-fuel ratio of the measured gas is leaner than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio as a first cumulative time period. The concentration calculation part calculates the NOx concentration in the measured gas higher with respect to the output of the sensor cell when the first cumulative time period is relatively long compared with when the first cumulative time period is relatively short.

Nitrogen oxide sensor

An exhaust sensorcomprises a sensor cell, a voltage application circuit, a current detection circuitand a concentration calculating part. The current detection circuit detects a first current flowing through the sensor cell when fuel cut control is being performed in the internal combustion engine and a predetermined voltage is applied from the voltage application circuit to the sensor cell, and detect a second current flowing through the sensor cell when normal control is being performed in the internal combustion engine and the predetermined voltage is applied from the voltage application circuit to the sensor cell. The concentration calculating part is configured to calculate the concentration higher with respect to the second current when the first current is relatively low compared with when the first current is relatively high.

Exhaust sensor

A high-strength aluminum alloy having good porthole extrudability is provided. It has a Vickers hardness Hv of not less than 40 as measured in a homogenized state created by heat treatment before extrusion and a Vickers hardness Hv of not less than 20 imparted by plastic working after the heat treatment.

Hot plastic working method

In a hot-dip zinc-coated steel sheet exhibiting excellent press die sliding characteristics and obtained by performing a molten galvanization and then skin pass rolling on a surface of the steel sheet, a galvanized layer has a three-dimensional average surface roughness ranging from 0.7 .mu.m to 1.4 .mu.m, and a skewness (S) of the amplitude probability distribution of the surface roughness, which is defined by the following equation (1), ranging from 0.1 to -0.3:
