A front cowl for covering a vehicle front portion of a straddle-type vehicle is provided. The front cowl includes a discontinuous portion which has a non-streamlined shape with respect to a flow of traveling wind and is formed on a lower surface of the front cowl. In the front cowl, a position of a lower edge of the discontinuous portion may be lower than a position of a front fork bracket provided at a vehicle front portion of the straddle-type vehicle.

Front cowl

A fixing structure of a screen includes a front cowl configured to cover a vehicle front portion, a meter panel disposed at a rear side of the front cowl, and a screen installed between the front cowl and the meter panel. An attachment piece is formed along a front edge of the screen. A first support portion configured to support the attachment piece from a back side is formed on the meter panel. A pressing portion configured to press the attachment piece from a front side is formed on the front cowl.

Fixing structure of screen

An air guide structure of a saddle-type vehicle includes a front side cover which covers a front side of the saddle-type vehicle, extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and includes a first cover member and a second cover member. The first cover member is arranged inside the second cover member. The second cover member overlaps the first cover member to partially cover the first cover member from outside. A cavity extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction is formed as an air guide passage by overlapping the first cover member and the second cover member. An outer edge of the second cover member separates from the first cover member at a part of a front side of the air guide passage to form a gap. An air intake hole is formed downward by the gap and is configured to introduce traveling air into the air guide passage.

Air guide structure of a saddle-type vehicle

The air intake structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle includes a front cowl, a pair of right and left air duct portions, an air cleaner box, and a vehicle body frame. The front cowl includes a pair of right and left air intake ports. The pair of the right and left air duct portions guides air taken from the pair of the right and left air intake ports. The air cleaner box cleans the air guided by the pair of the right and left air duct portions. The vehicle body frame is branched backward from a steering head pipe disposed on a front side of a vehicle into a bifurcated shape with a pair of right and left. The vehicle body frame includes the air cleaner box between the branches of the bifurcated shape. The air duct portion includes a first air duct and a second air duct. The first air duct guides air to the air cleaner box from the air intake port through the vehicle body frame. The second air duct branches from the first air duct in a middle to guide air to the air cleaner box.

Air intake structure for saddle-ride type vehicle

A cowl which covers a front component of a saddle-ridden type vehicle, includes: a cowl body; and passage forming portions each of which extends from a front, central, in a left-right direction, position of the cowl body or a vicinity of the front, central position to a side position of the cowl body; each of the passage forming portions forms an air passage that extends from the front, central position of the cowl body or a vicinity of the front, central position to the side position of the cowl body; the passage forming portions or each of the passage forming portions has an inlet as defined herein; each of the passage forming portions has an outlet as defined herein; and the air passages cause a riding wind occurring during running of the saddle-ridden type vehicle to flow through the air passages.
