A compact and simple constitution of a card connector, with which attaching and detaching works of a card can be performed easily, is provided. The connectorcomprises: a bodyhaving a recessfor a card; six contact springs projecting from a bottom faceof the recesson which the IC cardis disposed, and elastically contacting with contact terminalsof the card; a stationary hooking portionprovided on a rear face side of the body; a movable hooking memberprovided on a front face side of the body, and movable in a anteroposterior direction of the body; and a plate springfor charging the movable hooking membertoward the rear face of the body, and wherein a tapered faceis formed on a rear face side of a hooking portionso as to come closer to the rear face of the bodyas approaching to the bottom faceof the recess. A front end of the IC cardis held between the stationary hooking memberand the bottom faceof the recess, and a rear end of the IC cardis held by means of the hooking portionprovided on the rear face side of the movable hooking memberand the bottom faceof the recess

Card connector with stationary and movable hooks

In a receptacle of the invention for battery using apparatuses, when mounting it to a circuit board, an electrode contact portionof a contact for a batterydisposed on an electrode disposing portionis disposed so that its forward portion may protrude above a battery mounting portion. When mounting a batteryonto the battery mounting portion, an electrodein a recessis pressed against the electrode contact portionin such an inclined state that the lower end of an end surface having an electrodeformed thereon is abutted against the right surface of the battery mounting portionwhile raising the other end simultaneously and then the batteryis pushed forward to flex a slant striptoward the side of an electrode disposing portionwhile pressing down the other end, so that it can provide a large flexure allowance as compared to the case of flexing it vertically and resultantly enhance the contacting pressure, thus securing the connection with the battery electrode.

Receptacle for battery-using equipment

A compact receptacle for mating connection with a complementary coaxial plug connector. The receptacle is in use to be mounted on a mobile phone for switching a signal line from an internal antenna to a vehicle's external antenna when placed on a cradle in a vehicle in mating connection with the plug connector on the cradle. The receptacle has a dielectric mold carrying an outer conductor shield fitted on top of the mold, a single spring member, and a single fixed contact member. The conductor shield includes an electrode socket for connection with an outer conductor tube of the plug. The spring member integrally carries a center electrode for connection with a center conductor post of the plug, and a movable contact which forms a normally-closed switch with a fixed contact on the fixed contact member for the above signal switching.
