A head-mounted display includes a first image light output unit configured to output first image light, a first light guiding unit configured to guide the first image light output by the first image light output unit, a first optical member configured to reflect the first image light guided by the first light guiding unit to a predetermined first position, and a bridge portion provided to sandwich the first optical member between the first light guiding unit and the bridge portion, wherein at least a part of the bridge portion contains an environmental material.

Head-mounted display reducing carbon dioxide emission during thermal recycling

A head-mounted display includes a frame having conductivity, a first display device and a second display device supported by the frame, a cable shielded by a conductive cloth, and a screwing structure configured to interpose the cable between the frame and the first and second display devices. The screwing structure holds a conducting region of the frame and the conductive cloth in a state where the conducting region of the frame and the conductive cloth are electrically coupled.

A relay apparatus for coupling a head-mounted display apparatus to a first external device includes a substrate, a first cable including a plurality of first thin wires, the first cable extending in a first direction and a second cable extending in a direction opposite the first direction. In the relay apparatus, the substrate includes a first surface, a second surface on a backside of the first surface, a first coupling portion to which the plurality of first thin wires are coupled, and a second coupling portion to which the second cable is coupled, the first coupling portion includes a first connector that is located on the first surface and to which a subset of the plurality of first thin wires is coupled, and a second connector that is located on the second surface and to which another subset of the plurality of first thin wires is coupled.
