An image forming device includes one or more image carriers on which a toner image is formed; a transfer belt that transfers a toner image formed on the image carrier; a presser that presses the transfer belt against the image carrier to transfer the toner image onto the transfer belt; and a switching mechanism that switches a position of the presser according to a rotation angle of a cam. The switching mechanism switches a position of the presser to one of a first position that presses the transfer belt against the image carrier, a second position that is separated from the image carrier, and a third position that is a position separated from the image carrier and having a smaller separation distance from the image carrier than the second position.

An observation device includes a microscope. The microscope includes an illumination light beam source, an illumination optical system, and an observation optical system forming an optical image of an observation target from reflected light beams obtained by reflection of illumination light beams by the observation target. The observation optical system includes a phase plate changing the phase of directly reflected light beams reflected on a reflection surface among the reflected light beams. Both the illumination optical system and the observation optical system are arranged under the observation target. The observation device includes an image pickup device photoelectrically converting the optical image obtained by the observation optical system to create image data of the observation target and a display device displaying the image data. The illumination light beam emitted from the illumination optical system is a collimated light beam.

To provide a transfer device including a plurality of transfer rollers, a transfer frame that supports one end of the transfer rollers, and a plurality of wiring members. The plurality of wiring members are wired on the transfer frame, and transfer device-side contact terminals formed at one ends of the wiring members are collectively arranged at one end of the transfer frame. A black wiring member is arranged on a first surface of the transfer frame, and a plurality of color wiring members are arranged on a second surface of the transfer frame.

A process unit includes a photoreceptor drum, a frame and seal members. The photoreceptor drum has drum flanges protruded outwardly from both end surfaces of a substrate. The frame supports the photoreceptor drum rotatably. The seal members are provided between both end surfaces of the photoreceptor drum and the frame, and support the drum flanges. Each of the seal members includes an elastic member and a hard member. The elastic member and the hard member are adhered and laminated with each other in an axial direction of the photoreceptor drum. Furthermore, the hard member is arranged so as to be brought into contact with the photoreceptor drum.

A culture system has a culture bag for suspending and culturing pluripotent stem cells in a culture medium; a waste liquid container for storing used culture medium that is connected to the culture bag; a fresh medium container for storing a fresh culture medium that is connected to the culture bag; three-way stopcocks for switching flow channels from the culture bag to the waste liquid container or the fresh culture medium container, etc.; a trap portion for trapping the pluripotent stem cells in the culture medium in the flow toward the waste liquid container side; and a filter portion for subculturing that is formed in fourth and fifth flow channels in parallel to a first flow channel. The first flow channel connects the trap part to the culture bag, and has a mesh by which a cell mass of the pluripotent stem cells can be divided. A pump is used to pump the liquid in the individual flow channels.
