A circuit for collecting a blood component includes a blood collection device provided with a blood collection needle through which blood is collected from a blood donor, a blood separator in which the blood collected by the above blood collection device is separated, a blood component collection bag in which a predetermined blood component separated by the above blood separator is collected, a blood line in which the blood collection needle is connected to an inlet of the blood separator, a line for removing an initial blood flow, which branches from a first branching portion formed in the blood line, and in which an initial flow of blood collected from the blood donor is removed, and an anticoagulant-injection line that branches from a second branching portion, formed in the line for removing the initial blood flow, and into which an anticoagulant is injected.

A blood collecting apparatus comprises a blood collecting needle; the blood collecting bag, a first tube whose one end communicates with the blood collecting bag and other end communicates with the blood collecting needle, the branch portion provided on a portion of the first tube, a second tube connected with the branch portion at one end thereof and having a blood take-out port (sampling port); and a flexible resin bag including a third tube communicating with the second tube. There is a disclosure of a method and a container for storing a blood or blood component, including a sheet material having a plurality of layers and wherein the layers are adhered to each other, at least a portion of the layer which contacts blood or blood components is composed of a block copolymer having a micro-phase separating structure. In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a container which has excellent properties in relation to the storage of platelet, gas permeability and mechanical strength. Also, there is a disclosure of a method and a tube for transfusing blood or a blood component, including a tube material having a plurality of the same layers as the above.
