An object of the present invention is to make it possible to input coordinate information continuously among a plurality of input faces in inputting such coordinate information from the plurality of input faces by specifying coordinate positions. When a time measured between an end of a first input on the first input face and a start of a second input on the second input face is within a predetermined time, the first and second inputs are recognized as one continuous input even if the first input is stopped. Furthermore, when the end position of the first input is within a predetermined region, the first and second inputs are recognized as one continuous input even if the first input is stopped. Accordingly, it becomes possible to make a series of inputs by using the plurality of input faces.

Apparatus for recording an electrocardiogram

A body electrode holder includes a holding member to be disposed on an outer surface of a living body, and a plurality of perforations formed in predetermined positions of the holding member, through which perforations a plurality of body electrodes pass respectively, the holding member being formed of a sheet material. The predetermined positions correspond to portions of the living body in which portions bioelectricity is to be measured. The body electrode holder makes it possible to a plurality of body electrodes at once and easily to predetermined positions without requiring special technic or knowledge regarding positions to attach the body electrodes.

An electronic thermometer includes: an oscillator capable of changing from a connection between a reference and a capacitor and a resistance bulb and the capacitor. A counter is used for counting the oscillation frequency of the oscillator, and a clock is used to measure the time needed for the counter to count up to a specified number. The thermometer uses a memory circuit for preliminarily storing data to be used in a linearization process. A control circuit is included for linearizing the temperature to be detected by suppressing certain count pulses on a count by count basis according to data stored in a one-bit ROM. The temperature is then displayed by a display device.

A segment arrangement suitable for a Celsius and Fahrenheit clinical thermometer comprises two upper digit displays and two lower digit displays. The upper digit displays can merely display four figures '3', '4', '9', and '10'. The lower digit displays can display '00' through '99' figures, so as to display 35.0-42.0 degrees Centigrade and 96.8-105.8 degrees Fahrenheit. The two upper digit displays have such a specific configuration that a first digit display is provided which comprises a vertical major segment and a second digit display is provided which comprises two vertical minor segments, three horizontal segments, and one vertical major segment. The vertical major segment of the first digit display is electrically coupled to one of the two vertical minor segments.

A display electrode arrangement for an electronic clinical thermometer includes two groups of segment electrodes and two groups of common electrodes, and a driving circuit for selectively driving segment signals and common signals. Each of the two groups of segment electrodes and common electrodes is operated to display only a '3' or a '4' in the Centigrade degrees, and a '9' or a '10' for the Fahrenheit degrees. Those numerals may be displayed by combining the displayed portions.

An electronic thermometer comprises an oscillator operatively connectable to a temperature-sensitive resistance, a counter for counting an oscillation frequency of the oscillator, a timer for timekeeping a time of counting by providing the counter, a memory responsive to the counter for storing temperature data, in such a manner that each address stores a specific data representative of the presence and the absence of the temperature increase in a divided temperature measurement interval, and a calculation circuit for calculating temperature data with the count of the counter and the specific data of the memory.

An electronic thermometer suited for measuring a basal body temperature comprises a current time information keeping circuit. A time preset system is included in the electronic thermometer so that a desired time at which the body temperature measuring operation should be performed is preset in the electronic thermometer. When the current time reaches the preset time, the body temperature measuring operation is automatically conducted, and the measured data is stored in a memory means. A digital display unit is associated with the memory means so that the measured body temperature stored in the memory means is displayed on the digital display unit at any time.
