This invention relates to a feedback control device for controlling the stroke of an actuator stroke driven by a working fluid. The feedback control device for controlling the stroke correctly controls the stroke using a simple means by compensating secular changes in the flow rate control valve that controls the working fluid. The device for controlling the stroke of an actuatoris provided with a single flow rate control valvefor controlling the feed and discharge of the working fluid, and the flow rate control valve is operated to control the stroke by feedback. The flow rate control valvehas a neutral position where the working fluid is neither fed nor discharged, and a flow rate control valve control deviceis provided with a learning devicefor learning variations in the neutral position. The feedback control is executed, i.e., the flow rate control valveis operated by adding a value of the neutral position learned by the learning deviceto the feedback operation amount output by a PID operation unit, whereby a change in the flow rate characteristics caused by secular change is compensated.

Device for controlling the stroke of an actuator

A clutch control device for controlling a clutch installed between an engine and a transmission in a power transmission device for a vehicle includes a clutch actuator driven by a working fluid, a stroke sensor for detecting a movement of the clutch actuator, a flow rate control valve for controlling an amount of the working fluid in the clutch actuator, and a flow rate control valve control device for controlling a position of a valve body of the flow rate control valve responsive to a detection signal from the stroke sensor.

Flow rate control valve for clutch control device

A steam engine in which a liquid and a steam are jetted so that a rotor is turned by the reaction thereof, and the rotor having a well-balanced simple structure. In the steam engine, the rotorhaving a plurality of bent flow pathsA toD arranged at regular intervals therein is rotatably supported in a closed containerfilled with the liquid being fitted onto a boss portionof the closed container. The boss portionis alternately forming slide-contact portionsA having a steam feed port and recessed portionsB. The steam fed into the bent flow pathfrom the steam feed port causes the liquid in the flow path to be jetted outward to rotate the rotor. The rotoris of a point-symmetrical shape in cross section free of unbalanced weight, has no moving part, and is simple in structure. When the bent flow pathcommunicates with the recessed portionB, the steam remaining in the flow path is cooled and disappears, and the flow path is filled with the liquid.

Steam-jet engine

A clutch control device for vehicle equipped with a clutch actuator driven by a working fluid, wherein secular change in the flow rate control valve for controlling the working fluid is compensated, and the rate of connection of the clutch is correctly controlled by a simple means. To control the stroke of a clutch actuator, the clutch control device is provided with a single flow rate control valvethat controls the feed and discharge of the working fluid by using an electromagnetic solenoid. A flow rate control valve control deviceis provided with a learning devicethat learns the neutral position of the flow rate control valvewhich shuts off the flow of the working fluid, separately detects the amounts of electric current to a coilof when the rate of change in the stroke becomes zero depending upon the directions in which the valve body of the flow control valvemoves, and learns the central point at the neutral position by averaging the detected values. In controlling the stroke of the clutch, the amount of electric current to the coilis corrected based on the learned value to compensate for a change in the flow rate characteristics by secular changes.

A clutch control device for vehicle is equipped with a clutch actuator driven by a working fluid, and works to correctly control the rate of connection of the clutch by a simple means compensating secular change of a flow rate control valve that controls the working fluid. The clutch control device has a single flow rate control valvefor controlling the feed and discharge of the working fluid to change the stroke of the clutch actuator. The flow rate control valvehas a neutral position at where feed and discharge of the working fluid is stopped. A flow rate control valve control deviceis provided with a learning devicefor learning the neutral position. To control the stroke, the flow rate control valve control devicecorrects the amount of electric current to a coilof an electromagnetic solenoid based on a value learned by the learning deviceand compensates a change in the flow rate characteristics caused by secular change. The neutral position is learned when the rate of change in the stroke is substantially zero.
