An aluminum member includes: a substrate formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy that contains 0 to 10% by mass of magnesium, 0.1% by mass or less of iron, and 0.1% by mass or less of silicon and a balance of which is aluminum and unavoidable impurities; and an anodic oxide coating formed on a surface of the substrate. A surface of the substrate on the anodic oxide coating side has an arithmetical mean height Sa of 0.1 to 0.5 &#x3bc;m, a maximum height Sz of 0.2 to 5 &#x3bc;m, and an mean width of roughness profile elements Rsm of 0.5 to 10 &#x3bc;m, where the arithmetical mean height Sa, the maximum height Sz, and the mean width of roughness profile elements Rsm are measured after the anodic oxide coating is removed.

The present invention provides; a pellicle frame which can effectively inhibit distortion of the photo mask () caused by mounting the pellicle (), and which does not have a complex shape, and a pellicle which uses said pellicle frame are provided, and a manufacturing method of a blackened pellicle frame is also provided which can reduce the defect of the surface flickering under concentrated light and which facilitates inspection of the foreign matter adhesion prior to use. The present invention relates to a pellicle frame with an anodized film on a surface of an aluminum alloy frame, characterized in that: the aluminum alloy frame comprises an aluminum alloy which contains Ca: 5.0 to 10.0% by mass with the remainder aluminum and unavoidable impurities are contained, and has an area (volume) ratio of an AlCa phase, which is a dispersed phase, is greater than or equal to 25%, and a crystal structure of a part of the AlCa phase is monoclinic; wherein the AlCa phase dispersed in the anodized film is anodized, and the anodized film is stained with a black dye.

The present invention provides a pellicle frame which can effectively inhibit deformation of an exposure master plate () caused by affixing the pellicle (), and which does not have a complex shape, and a pellicle which uses said pellicle frame are provided. The pellicle frame with an anodized film on a surface of an aluminum alloy frame is characterized in that: the aluminum alloy frame comprises an aluminum alloy which contains Ca: 5.0 to 10.0% by weight with the remainder aluminum and unavoidable impurities are contained, and has an area (volume) ratio of an AlCa phase, which is a dispersed phase, is greater than or equal to 25%, and a crystal structure of a part of the AlCa phase is monoclinic; wherein the anodized film contains AlCa particles.

Provided is a method of recovering rare-earth elements by performing slight pH adjustment of a leachate, which does not require such significant pH adjustment as in conventional methods, reduces cost and effort, and can efficiently recover rare-earth elements in a bauxite residue in a good yield. The method of recovering rare-earth elements is a method of recovering rare-earth elements, the method including: a leaching step of bringing a raw material bauxite residue, which is produced as a by-product in a Bayer process, into contact with a liquid leaching agent to recover a leachate containing rare-earth elements; an extraction step of bringing the leachate into contact with an extraction treatment liquid containing a phosphoric acid ester-based extractant to recover an extract liquid containing the rare-earth elements; and a back extraction step of bringing the extract liquid into contact with a back extraction treatment liquid to recover the rare-earth elements, the leaching step including recovering a leachate having a pH of 0.5 or more and 1.2 or less by using an acidic liquid leaching agent, the extraction step including adjusting the pH of the leachate to 1.0 or more and 1.7 or less and then bringing the leachate into contact with the extraction treatment liquid.

Method of recovering rare-earth elements

A porous aluminum electrode has a porous layer formed by sintering aluminum powder on the surface of an aluminum core. The porous aluminum electrode, when subjected to a formation to a voltage of 200V or more, is boiled and then subjected to a first forming process in which formation is performed in an aqueous solution of ammonium adipate at a temperature of 80&#xb0; C. or below and a second forming process in which formation is performed in a boric acid aqueous solution. When heat depolarization is first carried out, washing with water is performed for five minutes or more before heat depolarization; therefore, the porous layer is not destroyed.

Provided is a pellicle frame that can prevent generation of haze and reduces a surface glittering defect under irradiation with collected light, and a method of manufacturing the same. The pellicle frame is obtained by using an aluminum frame material having a structure satisfying predetermined conditions on the circle-equivalent diameters of a MgSi crystallized product, an AlCuMg crystallized product, an Al&#x2014;Fe-based crystallized product (AlFe or AlCuFe), and an AlCuMg crystallized product and on the area ratios of those crystallized products each having a circle-equivalent diameter of 1 &#x3bc;m or more, and in addition, subjecting the aluminum frame material to anodic oxidation processing using an alkaline electrolytic solution containing as an electrolyte a predetermined organic acid salt. In addition, the method of manufacturing a pellicle frame includes: preparing an aluminum frame material having a structure as described above; and subjecting the aluminum frame material to anodic oxidation processing using an alkaline electrolytic solution containing a predetermined organic acid salt, to form an anodic oxide film.

Pellicle frame and process for producing same

Provided is a method of recovering rare-earth elements by which rare-earth elements can be recovered efficiently from a bauxite residue serving as a raw material and containing the rare-earth elements. Specifically provided is a method of recovering rare-earth elements from a raw material, the raw material being a bauxite residue produced as a by-product in a Bayer process, the method including: using a bauxite residue having a specific surface area of 35 m/g or more; adding, to the raw material bauxite residue, a liquid leaching agent formed of an aqueous solution of at least one kind of mineral acid selected from sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, and sulfurous acid, thereby preparing a slurry having a liquid-solid ratio of 2 to 30 and a pH of 0.5 to 2.2; subjecting the slurry to leaching treatment of the rare-earth elements under a temperature condition of room temperature to 160&#xb0; C.; subjecting the slurry after the leaching treatment to solid-liquid separation, yielding a leachate; and separating and recovering the rare-earth elements from the leachate.

Provided is a method of recovering rare-earth elements, including causing rare-earth elements particularly including Nd and Dy to leach efficiently from a raw material for leaching which contains the rare-earth elements, and separating and recovering the rare-earth elements. The method of recovering rare-earth elements includes: a leaching step including performing leaching treatment of rare-earth elements in which an acidic slurry of a raw material for leaching which contains the rare-earth elements is held under a predetermined condition, and then subjecting the slurry obtained after the leaching treatment to solid-liquid separation, yielding a leachate containing the rare-earth elements; and a separation step of separating and recovering the rare-earth elements from the yielded leachate, in which: the raw material for leaching contains Ca as CaO at a ratio of 4 to 15 mass % and Ti as TiOat a ratio of 2 to 13 mass % in a solid component (S); an acid aqueous solution is an acid aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid and/or nitric acid; and the leaching treatment performed in the leaching step is digestion or maceration which is performed under the heating and pressurizing conditions of a temperature of 160 to 300&#xb0; C. and a pressure of 0.65 to 10 MPa, and the rare-earth elements are caused to leach together with Ca in the leaching step.
