A test device includes a specimen having a circular cross section that accommodates a test target, a specimen holding part that holds a plurality of the specimens in a row, light emitting elements in which light is incident on two adjacent specimens among the plurality of specimens, a first light guide paththat guides light emitted by the light emitting elements, and a second light guide path that is formed to have a smaller diameter than a diameter of the first light guide path and that guides the light emitted by the light emitting elements from the first light guide path to the specimen.

Test device

A management system including at least one processor, wherein the processor is configured to acquire a captured image obtained by imaging an outer surface of each of plural sample containers which contains a sample and in which discrimination information for discriminating a subject from whom the sample is collected is given to the outer surface, and associate a test result related to the sample contained in each of the sample containers with a test order in which information of a discrimination image including the discrimination information is registered in advance for each subject, based on the captured image and the test order.

Management system and management method

A management system including a processor, the processor is configured to acquire an image obtained by imaging an outer surface of each of plural sample containers and a boundary container, the sample container containing a sample and in which subject information of a subject from whom the sample is collected is given to the outer surface, the boundary container in which group boundary information indicating a boundary between plural groups of subjects is given to the outer surface, recognize the subject information and the group boundary information based on the image, and associate a test result related to the sample contained in each of the sample containers with a test order which includes the subject information and in which the group is divided corresponding to the group boundary information, based on a result of the recognition and the test order.

Management system, management method, and dummy container

A management system including at least one processor, wherein the processor is configured to acquire an image obtained by imaging a sample container containing a sample, recognize relevant information related to reliability of a test result related to the sample based on the image, and derive reliability information indicating the reliability of the test result related to the sample based on the recognized relevant information.

A management system including at least one processor, wherein the processor is configured to acquire an image obtained by imaging an outer surface of each of plural sample containers which contains a sample and in which name information of a subject from whom the sample is collected and subject discrimination information for discriminating plural subjects having the same surname and the same name are given to the outer surface, recognize the name information and the subject discrimination information given to each of the sample containers based on the image, and associate a test result related to the sample contained in each of the sample containers with a test order including the name information and the subject discrimination information, based on a result of the recognition and the test order.

A loading mechanism holds at least one extracting cartridge provided with a filter member, at least one waste liquid vessel for accommodating a discharged liquid of a sample liquid and a discharged liquid of a washing liquid, which discharged liquids have been discharged from the extracting cartridge, and at least one recovery vessel for accommodating a recovery liquid, which contains a recovered nucleic acid and has been discharged from the extracting cartridge. A pressurized air supplying mechanism introduces pressurized air into the extracting cartridge. A liquid injecting mechanism injects each of the washing liquid and the recovery liquid into the extracting cartridge.

Extracting apparatus

When a dry analysis element contained in an element cartridge to be loaded in a sample tray of an automatic analysis apparatus projects from a take out port, the element is returned to its proper position, thereby preventing conveyance failure and information readout failure, with the result that higher operation reliability is ensured. An element mounting portion is equipped with a correcting means, such as a restricting projection. The correcting means contacts and pushes a dry analysis element which projects from an element cartridge back to its predetermined position therein, in association with a loading operation of the element cartridge.

Automatic analysis apparatus

Samples and dry chemical analysis elements, which are necessary for analyses of the samples, are loaded on a sample tray. Each sample is sucked with a spotting nozzle of a spotting unit and spotted onto one dry chemical analysis element. Analysis information, which contains information representing a type of analysis, is appended to each dry chemical analysis element. The analysis information is read with a reading device located such that, when a certain sample is located at a position for sample suction by an operation of the sample tray, the reading device reads the analysis information, which has been appended to a next dry chemical analysis element to be used for the analysis of the certain sample, at a position at which the next dry chemical analysis element is located.

Biochemical analysis method and apparatus

Samples and dry chemical analysis elements necessary for analyses of the samples are loaded on a circular sampler tray. Each of the samples having been loaded on the sampler tray is sucked through a spotting nozzle and spotted onto one of the dry chemical analysis elements. A temperature of each of the dry chemical analysis elements having been spotted with the samples is kept at a constant temperature in an incubator. The sampler tray is provided with a circular rotating disk. Sample vessels, each of which accommodates one of the samples, the dry chemical analysis elements of kinds corresponding to types of the analyses of the samples, nozzle tips, each of which is to be fitted to the spotting nozzle, diluent liquid vessels accommodating a diluent liquid, and mixing cups for dilution are supported on the rotating disk.

A dry chemical analysis element cartridge includes a box-like cartridge casing in which a plurality of chemical analysis elements are stacked and are taken out through an element take-out port formed at one end of the cartridge casing. The inner dimension of the cartridge casing in the direction of the stack of the chemical analysis elements is smaller than the longitudinal and transverse dimensions of each of the chemical analysis elements.

Dry chemical analysis element cartridge

An analysis method using a dry chemical analysis element accurately measures change in optical density indicating the composition of a liquid sample without requiring accurate control of the amount and position of the liquid sample dripped on the dry chemical analysis element. A one-dimensional or two-dimensional optical reading apparatus measures one-dimensional or two-dimensional distribution of degree of color reaction for a reacted portion of the dry chemical analysis element. Concurrently, the one-dimensional or two-dimensional optical reading apparatus measures a length or a spread area of the reacted portion. Physical density or activity of a target component contained in the liquid sample is determined based on an integrated value of the degree of the color reaction and the measured length or the spread area of the reacted portion.

Analysis method using dry chemical analysis element

In a biochemical analysis apparatus a frameless dry chemical analysis film having a reagent layer formed on a support sheet is taken out from a cartridge storing therein a plurality of the frameless chemical analysis films, applied with a sample liquid, inserted into an incubator and taken out from the incubator and at least a part of these steps and film transferring steps between these steps is effected with the film held by a suction pad. A change of pressure in the suction pad when it attracts the film under a suction force is measured and the attracting state of the suction pad is judged on the basis of the result of the measurement. The part of the steps which is effected with the film held by the suction pad is controlled on the basis of the judgment.

Biochemical analysis apparatus

Whether or not there remains a frameless chemical analysis film in a cartridge in which a plurality of the frameless chemical analysis films are stacked is judged by a film presence detector disposed in a second position different from a position where a film takeout mechanism takes out the frameless chemical analysis films from the cartridge so that the film presence detector does not interfere with the film takeout mechanism.

Method of judging presence of frameless chemical analysis film in chemical analysis film cartridge

In a biochemical analysis apparatus, a dry-type frameless chemical analysis film having a base and a reagent layer formed thereon is taken out from a cartridge in which a plurality of such frameless chemical analysis films are stacked. Then the film is spotted with a sample liquid and is transferred to a cell in an incubator to be incubated at a constant temperature, whereby coloring reaction between the reagent layer and a particular biochemical component in the sample liquid is caused and the optical density of the coloring matter formed is measured. A horseshoe-like film transfer member receives the film taken out from the cartridge and inserts it into the cell while holding it, and a suction member enters the cell from below the cell and holds the film inserted by the film transfer member.
