A head mounted display includes a first optical housing mounting a light source and an optical component, a second optical housing mounting an image generating element and an optical component, a securing member connecting and securing the first optical housing and the second optical housing, and an exterior housing holding the first optical housing, the second optical housing, and the securing member. The securing member is fitted with the first optical housing with the second optical housing enclosed to connect and secure the first optical housing and the second optical housing.

Object lens actuator, optical pickup and optical disk drive

An objective lens actuator in an optical pickup, having a semiconductor laser diode, electro-optic parts, such as a lens or the like, as well as, the objective lens actuator, etc., in a case, comprises: a holder, which mounts an objective lens and a coil thereon, as being a movable part; a magnetic circuit part, which is made up with a magnet for magnetically driving said holder and a yoke; a plural number of elastic support parts which elastically supports said holder; and a support part, which supports other ends of said elastic support parts, wherein said support part has a part, which is cut open in parallel with the elastic support parts, between said elastic support parts, and has a through hole, in which said elastic support part passes through for each of said elastic support parts, and thereby to provide the objective lens actuator for lowering the unwanted vibration mode of the objective lens, and also enabling a stable control thereof.

An objective lens actuator that can accommodate higher density and speed is provided by improving frequency characteristics of an objective lens. The objective lens actuator includes an objective lens, a cylindrical lens holder that holds the objective lens, and a reinforcement part disposed in an opening opposite to the objective lens of the lens holder. The reinforcement part has a size that occupies one third to one half of the cylindrical wall of the lens holder from the end of an aperture along the optical axis. In this range, the high order resonance frequencies of the lens holder can be increased, and therefore, it is possible to obtain an objective lens actuator that can minimize the vibration amplitude at the high order resonance frequencies.
