A thermoplastic elastomer composition for powder molding comprising 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin-based resin(A) and 10 to 1000 parts by weight of a specific hydrogenated vinyl aromatic compound-conjugated diene-based block copolymer(B), a powder of the thermoplastic elastomer composition, a method for powder molding the same, a molded article obtained by the method for powder molding, and a multi-layer molded article containing the molded article as one layer.

A polymer composition for powder foam molding which comprises (A) a polymer having an epoxy group, (B) a peroxide having a temperature for obtaining a half-life of 10 hours of 100&deg; C. or higher, (C) at least one of quaternary ammonium salts and quaternary phosphonium salts, and (D) a thermally decomposable foaming agent. According to the present invention, the polymer composition for powder foam molding, excellent in storage stability, capable of crosslinking and foaming in a short time, capable of giving a foam having a small compression set, excellent surface texture and little skin lack of hiding, powder of the composition, a foam obtained from the composition, a method for producing the foam, and a molded article comprising the foam.

A polymer composition for powder molding, containing (A) to (E) described below: (A) a peroxide-crosslinkable olefin-based copolymer having a melt flow rate measured under the conditions of a load of 2.16 kgf and a temperature of 190&deg; C. according to JIS K7210 of 1 g/10 min. or more; (B) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a peroxide having a temperature for obtaining a half life of 10 hours of 100&deg; C. or more, per 100 parts by weight of (A); (C) 0.1 to 7 parts by weight of a crosslinking aid per 100 parts by weight of (A); (D) 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a thermal decomposition type foaming agent per 100 parts by weight of (A); and (E) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a foaming aid per 100 parts by weight of (A), a powder and foamed article of the polymer composition, a method for producing the foamed article, and a molded article containing the foamed article, and further the polymer composition is excellent in the storage stability of its uncrosslinked composition, and can provide a foamed article having a high expansion ratio and an excellent surface skin, and hardly having a skin lack of hiding.

A thermoplastic elastomer composition powder comprising a thermoplastic elastomer composition represented by the following (A), having a sphere-reduced average diameter of not more than 1.2 mm and a bulk specific gravity of not less than 0.38: (A) a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin; (b) 20 to 250 parts by weight of a conjugated diene polymer of hydrogenated conjugated diene copolymer having a hydrogenation degree of not less than 70%, which is prepared by hydrogenating a conjugated diene-vinyl aromatic compound random copolymer in which the content of a vinyl aromatic compound unit is not more than 25% by weight; and (c) 0 to 500 parts by weight of an ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer rubber. A vinyl chloride resin composition for powder molding containing 100 wt. parts of a granular vinyl chloride resin having an average polymerization degree of between 1000 and 1200, 75 to 81 wt. parts of a trimellitate plasticizer, and 2 to 20 wt. parts of a fine powder vinyl chloride resin having an average polymerization degree of between 600 and 1000, which has excellent powder-dropping and melting properties, and can be readily powder molded to give molded articles having good elongation at low temperature and also very low glass-hazing properties.
