The nut of the present invention is an encased nut including: a case body which is welded to a body; and a nut which is freely movably held inside the case body. The nut is composed of a hexagonal nut body and an insulating member made of a resin and insert-molded on the outer surface of this hexagonal nut body. The insulating member is provided with a plurality of protrusions on the side, abutting on the body, of the outer circumferential part. The nut is insulated, and thus is not affixed by electrodeposition coating.

Encased nut

A female thread member capable of preventing seizing caused by inclined insertion, and being smoothly fastened from any directions in which a bolt is inserted, and a fastening member using the female thread member. A non-thread portion is formed on an inner peripheral surface of a female thread member body having a female thread for a length corresponding to at least one pitch from an end surface on a bolt-inserting side, and a projection which comes into contact with a flank surface of a male thread of an inserted bolt is formed on a line extending from a helical line of the female thread. The female thread member is used in combination with the bolt having no incomplete thread portion, and there is no adverse possibility of seizing regardless of any directions in which the bolt is inserted.

Female screw component and fastening component utilizing the same

In a bolt of the present invention, a guide portion having a small diameter is formed at the distal end of a shaft portion and ridge having an inverted direction screw configuration relative to the ridge formed on a constant diameter portion is formed. When the bolt is inserted obliquely into a nut and the ridge gets into engagement with a female screw portion of the nut, an effect of floating the bolt is generated, and the bolt cannot be driven into the nut unless it is set in an appropriate tightening posture. Consequently, biting and seizing of the bolt to the nut can be prevented securely. If the ridge is formed into a double threaded screw having an inverted direction screw configuration, the effect can be further intensified.

Bolt

Disclosed is a bolt which has been contemplated to solve problems of prior bolts and to provide the bolt adapted to corrects its own position in a precise direction to permit normal fastening without failure such as slipping, seizure or the like even when the bolt is inserted slantingly into a mating female screw. The bolt comprises a constant diameter columnar portion having a smaller diameter than that of a bolt shank portion and formed on an end portion of the bolt shank portion, formed with normal screw threads, in a direction of insertion with a short tapered portion therebetween, and complete screw threads formed on the constant diameter columnar portion to be equal in pitch and thread groove depth to the normal screw threads on the bolt shank portion.

Self-aligning bolt

There is disclosed a guide slider for a window regulator that does not cause to rise an allophone, a awkward movement and a jolt to a rail in which said guide slider is made a slidable movement, wherein said guide slider comprises a substantially lod blank having a substantially spherical head at one tip end thereof and a main body of guide made of thermoplastic resin, wherein further the main body of guide has a receiving and bearing seat in which the head of the blank can be received in such a manner that the axis of the blank becomes coaxial to that of the main body of guide, and the receiving and bearing surface of the main body of guide closely contacts with the surface of the head but the slidably rotational movement of the head in the receiving and bearing seat is permitted.

Guide slider for window regulator

A spare tire-fixing device comprises a rod-shaped clamping member (1) having a screw (2) at the lower end thereof and a head (3) at the upper end thereof, respectively; and a substantially disc-shaped tire presser (10) having a shaft tube (11) having first and second circular bearing seats (11a, 11b) as both end faces thereof and a center hole into which the screw of the clamping member can be inserted, at the center thereof, and a collar (12) which is a doughnut-shaped member linked with the shaft tube via a peripheral frame (13) in the outer peripheral direction of the shaft tube and has first and second tire-pressing faces (12a, 12b) as both end faces thereof, respectively, wherein a difference in level corresponding to the difference between the width of a normal tire and that of a temporary tire is provided between the shaft tube and the collar.

Tire-fixing device

A clamping member fastenable to a bolt, wherein the clamping member includes a bowl-shaped main body having a bolt-inserting opening formed through a bottom center portion thereof. A leaf spring clip is embedded integratedly in the bottom center portion of the bowl-shaped main body. The leaf spring clip includes a plurality of spring claws extending from a periphery of the bolt-inserting opening toward a center of the bolt-inserting opening in an oblique and upward direction. The plurality of spring claws are engagable with a bolt and fasten the clamping member to the bolt responsive to a direct pushing action of the main body of the clamping member over the bolt with the bolt passing through the bolt-inserting opening, without requiring any tools or rotating action of the clamping member relative to the bolt. The bolt has a thread thereon and the thread may have an upper surface portion formed into a convexly arched surface and a lower surface portion formed into a concavely arched surface, the thread being engagable with the plurality of spring claws such that the spring claws engage over the convexly arched upper surface portion of the thread of the bolt responsive to a direct pushing action of the main body of the clamping member over the bolt.

Fastening device with bowl-shaped main body portion and leaf spring clip

A holding device for use in assembling mechanical members comprises a joint head having a spherical head and a fastener formed continuous with the spherical head; and a clip having a joint cavity member formed of an elastic material, the joint cavity member having a groove portion having a cross-section corresponding in shape to an external shape of the spherical head, and receiving lip portions formed continuous with the groove portion, the receiving lip portions spreading outward, and a fastener formed continuous with the joint cavity member. The spherical head of the joint can be fitted in the groove portion to be held therein, whereby a member which is fastened to the fastener of the joint head and a member which is fastened to the fastener of the clip can be preliminarily held to each other. The invention provides the preliminarily-holding device for use in assembling mechanical members, which is capable of causing a part (e.g. a bumper of an automotive vehicle) having destortion in its formed shape to be preliminarily held onto a body (e.g. of the vehicle) having dimensional or positional errors in assembly, while absorbing deviations in the positional relationship between the part and body to be assembled.
