A protection tube with latch in which a latch that is formed engageable with an attachment hole of a panel is molded integral with a protection tube that receives an electric wire, and a manufacturing apparatus of the protection tube with latch. Joint connector

To provide a joint box, which can easily and compactly hold electrical wires along the joint box, the joint box includes a base unit having separately a joint portion for connecting electrical wires and a wire bundle portion for passing the electrical wires and a cover mounted on the base unit for covering the joint portion and the wire bundle portion. The cover includes integrally a first cover portion for the joint portion and a second cover portion for the wire bundle portion. At least one of terminals at the joint portion is connected with an earth ground terminal. The electrical wires are wired at the wire bundle portion of the joint box.

An automatic transmission wiring connector is constituted by: a hollow housing provided with a male-terminal lead-out portion; a solubilized synthetic-resin member insertable into a rear-end opening portion; a relay terminal insert-molded together with the solubilized synthetic-resin member so that a male terminal portion is exposed in a hood portion through the male-terminal lead-out portion from a male-terminal insertion portion; and an electric wire fixed to a wire connection portion of the relay terminal exposed to the outside from the male-terminal insertion portion of the solubilized synthetic-resin member. Accordingly, the solubilized synthetic-resin member is heated and melted by the temperature of the injected resin for the insert molding to thereby seal the inside air-gap and the surroundings of the male terminal portion surely to increase the adhesion of the solubilized synthetic-resin member.

Automatic transmission wiring connector

A connector comprises a housing including a terminal receiving chamber into which a terminal is insertable; a partition wall dividing an internal space of the terminal receiving chamber into a first portion and a second portion, the partition wall having a hole through which the terminal is extended from the first portion into the second portion when the terminal is inserted into the terminal receiving chamber; and micro-capsules each containing an adhesive solution, the micro-capsules being provided at least on an inner surface of the hole. In the connector, when the terminal is inserted into the terminal receiving chamber, the micro-capsules are ruptured by a pressure produced when the terminal is fitted in the hole of the partition wall, so that the adhesive solution is released from the micro-capsules and adhesively bonds the terminal to the inner surface of the hole in a liquid-tight manner.

Connector and method of assembling same

A detector circuit for coupled connectors is provided with one connector housing, the other connector housing and a lock confirming slider. A sensor circuit terminal and a short-circuiting terminal are oppositely arranged in respect to the one connector housing and the lock confirming slider. Springs are arranged between the terminals. The lock confirming slider is moved forward by the springs when both connector housings are completely fitted to each other. Thus, the sensor circuit terminal and the short-circuiting terminal are contacted to each other.

Electrical connector housing

Two mating connector housings are connected and locked together by a resilient lock arm formed on a first connector housing and an engagement portion formed on a second connector housing that cooperates with the resilient lock arm. The first connector housing is also provided with a lock verification slider that can be advanced toward the first connector housing only when the two connector housings are completely connected. A pair of engagement detection terminals are provided to either the first connector housing or the lock verification slider, and a short-circuit terminal is provided to either the lock verification slider or the first connector housing so that it faces the pair of engagement detection terminals. The pair of engagement detection terminals and the short-circuit terminal make up a connector engagement detection circuit. When the two connector housings are connected completely and the lock verification slider is advanced, the pair of engagement detection terminals and the short-circuit terminal are brought into contact with each other, completing the connector engagement detection circuit to indicate the full engagement of the mating connector housings.
