In a method for recycling a double component developer that contains a carrier and a toner used for an image forming device such as office automation equipment, an economic value of recycling is increased, thereby allowing a company to carry out an active and sustainable environmental activity. Material components of a carrier are completely utilized, so that a process of removing and disposing part of components of the carrier, which is present in the conventional technology of a carrier recycling, is omitted from a recycling system, and in consequence, a cost of recycling is minimized. Furthermore, as well as a subject of the recycling, i.e. a carrier itself, a more valuable material, i.e. a platinum group metal, is utilized for the recycling.

Developer recycling method

A method and an apparatus for fixing a part and a part support for mounting the part by use of adhesive via an intermediate member are disclosed. The adhesive is implemented by photocuring adhesive while the intermediate member is formed of a material transparent for light. The intermediate member is free from coloring and deformation when illuminated by light for curing the adhesive. The adhesive is prevented from dropping or turning round to other portions during assembly.

A recycling method enables closed-loop material recycling (CMR) to be smoothly performed while reducing the amount of a recovered material disposed of outside the CMR loop. The amount of use of recovered ABS in a copying machine in a product production division is determined on the basis of a plan to produce the copying machine in the product production division and the amount of production of recovered ABS in a recovered material production division for producing recovered ABS from used component parts. The amount of use may be determined by adjusting the mixing ratio of recovered ABS and virgin ABS in a regenerated material production division for producing regenerated ABS by mixing recovered ABS and virgin ABS.

Recycling method

A toner recycling method and a toner recycling system use two personal computers and a display. A personal computer carries out management of information of toner, which is collected at a toner collection site. Another personal computer generates recycling information, which includes information about toner requirement of a granule manufacturer. A display at the toner collection site displays recycling information. Collected toner is used for manufacturing flux by mixing with aluminum dross, aluminum ash, aluminum dregs etc.
