The present invention is applied to a distributed control system in which a plurality of control devices (a central control device, an individual control device, and the like) are connected via a network. For example, the central control device executes a start-up deadline determination processing for setting a start-up deadline in consideration of the performance of a device to be controlled, and communication processing for transmitting a packet including identification information of a command and information of the start-up deadline to the individual control device. For example, when receiving the packet transmitted from the central control device, the individual control device controls execution of the command on the device to be controlled on the basis of the start-up deadline included in the packet.

Communication method, central control device and individual control device

An identifier such as an IC tag attached to a commodity is read by an antenna connected to a display rack or an information terminal. A server receives the read result, analyse the purchase action of the customer from the identifier ID, the antenna position information, etc, and proposes a totalization result. For example, detailed information of purchase actions for each customer such as a read result for each commodity and a commodity simultaneously read is displayed on terminals for the manager of the shop and managers at headquarters. The totalization result is displayed for the customer as a popular or good selling commodity of the shop on an information terminal inside the shop.

A line system has control units each of which is connected to a processing device (a device for processing a workpiece, for example), and which are connected through a network. The system has a memory which stores data for use in processing the workpiece and which is provided for each control unit, and maintains the contents of the memories provided for the respective control units identical to each other.

Control method and apparatus of line and line system

In a programmable controller system, a sequence program, an operation sequence control program module and a plurality of I/O control program modules including interlock control are independently provided. In the interlock control of the start condition and the operation end condition of an actuator, an interlock condition set program is separated from the operation sequence control program, and the interlock condition is described in a table, thereby easily setting the interlock condition in the form of a table. As described above, when the operation sequence control program executed by a programmable controller and the input/output control program including the interlock control are independently provided, the number of steps in programming can be decreased, and reliability and maintenance performance of the program can be improved.

During expansion of differential pulse code modulation PCM data into (PCM) data, particularly for speech data in data processing, the range of oscillation of the PCM data can be centered about an amplitude level when each current PCM value has a small value .DELTA. subtracted from it or added to it when respectively positive or negative to obtain a corrected current PCM sample value. Even if manipulation involved in data editing, such as division or connection, of differential or expanded PCM data has been performed or if an error has occurred during transmission of differential PCM data to produce an offset, such offset can be quickly corrected during the expansion.
