To provide a drive force transmission device that is capable of transmitting elastic energy of an elastic member to an output shaft with a simpler structure than the structure of the related art. A drive force transmission device includes a first shaft (input shaft), and a second shaft (a crankshaft, a crank disc, an intermediate shaft). A force is applied to the second shaft in a predetermined direction of rotation and in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation. The force varies in strength in association with the rotation. The first shaft is connected to the second shaft, and transmission of a drive force of the first shaft to the second shaft is enabled.

Drive force transmission device

A transfer device that includes a case that houses a transfer mechanism; a strainer that suctions oil stored in a lower portion of the case; a valve body that has a hydraulic supply circuit that supplies a hydraulic pressure to the transfer mechanism and a suction oil path that discharges an extra hydraulic pressure that is extra for the hydraulic supply circuit; a first suction inlet that communicates with one of the suction oil path and the strainer and a second suction inlet that communicates with the other of the suction oil path and the strainer, and a balanced vane pump.

The first engagement element comprises a first magnet. The fixed member comprises a second magnet in which a polarity is switched between a straight polarity and a reversed polarity, and a coil that switches the polarity of the second magnet depending on a direction of the current applied thereto.

Ground wires are shared between a drive-side pulley solenoid valve and a driven-side pulley solenoid valve. Therefore, when a disconnection or short circuit occurs in the shared portion, a drive-side pulley and a driven-side pulley show substantially the same behavior. As a result, changes in the speed ratio &#x3b3;cvt of a continuously variable transmission are suppressed and changes in vehicle behavior are also suppressed. A fitting clearance of a relief valve functions as an air bleeding orifice. When a discharge pressure reaches a relief pressure so that the relief valve turns into a relief state, a spool is moved so as to limit flow-out of hydraulic oil through the fitting clearance. As a result, generation of air trapping is suppressed by air bleeding function of the relief valve in a closed state. Air in a discharge oil passage is discharged quickly in the initial period of the startup of an electric oil pump, thereby improving rise-up of discharge pressure. During normal pump operation in which the relief valve is held in a relief state, pressure loss due to flow out of the hydraulic oil from the fitting clearance is suppressed and consequently, an electric oil pump having substantially the same discharge performance as conventionally can be used.

An oil passage structure of a chain-driven oil pump includes three lines of oil passages for supplying oil from the center support to the torque converter, a first oil passage for supplying oil to the torque converter through the inside of an input shaft of the torque converter, a second oil passage for supplying oil to the torque converter through a space defined by the outer periphery surface of the input shaft and the inner periphery surface of a stator shaft, and a third oil passage for supplying oil to the torque converter by bypassing the drive sprocket. The third oil passage is provided on the outer periphery side of the drive sprocket and in a position where it does not interfere with the operation of a chain. Accordingly, it is possible to utilize the flex lock-up to a maximum extent, and to reduce the diameter of the sprocket.
