An excitation operation brake includes a braking shaft, an armature that rotates integrally with the braking shaft, and a field core including a disc portion facing the armature. The disc portion includes an outer magnetic shielding portion and an inner magnetic shielding portion, which make a magnetic flux flowing through the disc portion bypass to the armature a plurality of times. The outer magnetic shielding portion includes a low-magnetic resistance path having a magnetic resistance smaller than the magnetic resistance of a magnetic path that bypasses to the armature.

Excitation operation brake

An electromagnetic connecting device includes a flange of a hub, an armature supported by the flange via a leaf spring, a rotor accommodating an electromagnetic coil, and an anti-vibration member. When an electric current is supplied to the electromagnetic coil, the armature moves in the axial direction of the hub against the spring force of the leaf spring, and is attracted to the rotor. The leaf spring includes a moving portion that moves in the axial direction together with the movement of the armature. The anti-vibration member is fixed to the moving portion of the leaf spring. The anti-vibration member includes a stopper that comes in contact with the flange, and a damper that comes in contact with the armature. With this configuration, an electromagnetic connecting device capable of reducing an impact sound both when the armature is attracted and released can be manufactured at a low manufacturing cost.

Electromagnetic connecting device

An electromagnetic clutch includes a field core including a coil storage groove, and a rotor including a core storage groove. The coil storage groove is formed by an inner cylindrical portion, an outer cylindrical portion, and a bottom portion. The bottom portion of the field core wholly projects to the outside of the core storage groove. The outer peripheral surface of the inner cylindrical portion and the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical portion include a first transition surface and a second transition surface, respectively, on the bottom portion side. Each of the first transition surface and the second transition surface includes a tilting surface that gradually narrows the groove width of the coil storage groove along with an increase in a distance from the side of the opening of the coil storage groove.

A yoke includes an annular groove in which an exciting coil is stored, and a first through hole formed in the bottom of the annular groove. A terminal housing includes a boss portion fitted in the first through hole and a connecting concave portion located on the opposite side of the annular groove with respect to the boss portion. The boss portion includes a second through hole extending in a direction parallel to the center line of the first through hole. An external connecting terminal is buried in the terminal housing. The external includes a coil extraction hole continuing to the second through hole. The extraction end of the exciting coil is soldered to the terminal in a state in which the extraction end is passed through the second through hole and the coil extraction hole.

Exciting device for electromagnetic connection device

An electromagnetic connection device includes an armature (), a rotor (), an electromagnetic coil (), and a spring member () that biases the armature () in a direction in which the armature () is separated from the rotor (). The electromagnetic connection device includes a damping member () mounted on the armature () so as to face the rotor (). The armature () includes a flat portion () and a tubular portion (). The damping member () includes a damper cover () including an abutment portion along the flat portion () and an engaging portion along the tubular portion (), and an elastic member () sandwiched between the abutment portion and the flat portion (). The damper cover () is put on the armature () from the side of the rotor () and movably held on the tubular portion (). The flat portion () includes a concave portion () configured to store the abutment portion of the damper cover (). There is provided an electromagnetic connection device capable of obtaining a high damping effect and raising the productivity while preventing the elastic member from being exposed to a friction surface.

Electromagnetic connection device

A seal structure for an electromagnet lead wire includes an annular yoke including an annular groove, a wiring hole configured to pass a lead wire of an exciting coil, an insulating resin configured to seal the exciting coil, and a seal member arranged in the hole. The wiring hole includes a though hole of a case, and a concave portion of the yoke. The insulating resin includes a projecting portion whose distal end face is located in the concave portion. The seal member includes a columnar portion inserted into the though hole, and a flange portion located in the concave portion. The flange portion is sandwiched and compressed between the device inner surface of the case and the distal end face of the insulating resin.

Seal structure for electromagnetic lead wire

An electromagnetic clutch includes a rotation transmission member supported by an input shaft portion via a bearing. The rotation transmission member includes a movement regulating portion having abutment portions that abut against the bearing. The clutch further includes first and second spring members that bias an armature toward a braking member, and a connecting member overlaid on the movement regulating portion. The connecting member has first holes at portions facing the abutment portions, and second holes at portions facing regions between the abutment portions. One-end portions of the first and second spring members are attached to the armature. First fixing members inserted into the first holes fix the other-end portions of the first spring members to the connecting member. Second fixing members inserted into the second holes fix the other-end portions of the second spring members to the connecting member and fix the connecting member to the movement regulating portion.

Electromagnetic clutch

An electromagnetic coupling device includes a field core, a surge voltage absorbing member, and a storage member. The field core is provided inside an exciting coil. The surge voltage absorbing member is connected to the exciting coil. The storage member is made of an insulating material and includes a recess portion to store the surge voltage absorbing member. A through hole is formed in an outer wall of the field core. The storage member is inserted into the through hole with an opening of the recess portion facing the exciting coil. The surge voltage absorbing member is inserted in the recess portion so as to be positioned outside the field core by the exciting coil.

Electromagnetic coupling device

An electromagnetic clutch includes a rotor, armature hub, armature, magnetic body and first permanent magnet, field core, excitation coil, and second permanent magnet. The rotor is rotatably disposed in the housing of a driven device. The armature hub is fixed to the rotating shaft of the driven device, the armature movable in an axial direction. The magnetic body is incorporated in the rotor. The first permanent magnet connects the armature to the rotor. The field core is attached to the housing and inserted in the rotor to be in noncontact with it. The excitation coil is disposed in the field core and excited, when cutting off power transmission, to cancel a magnetic force of the first permanent magnet, thus releasing the armature from the first permanent magnet. The second permanent magnet separates the armature from the rotor, when cutting off power transmission, to move the armature toward the armature hub.

In a power transmission apparatus, a driving rotary body is rotated by power from a driving device. A driven rotary body includes a driven rotary member attached to a rotating shaft of a driven device and a holding plate attached to the driven rotary member. A damper mechanism includes a cylindrical elastic member attached to the driving rotary body and a connecting member which is engaged in the elastic member to be movable forward/backward. At least one rotation transmission member is attached to the connecting member, has one end connected to the driving rotary body through the damper mechanism and the other end separably connected to the driven rotary body, and transmits rotation of the driving rotary body to the driven rotary body. A preset load setting member is mounted between the driven rotary body and the connecting member to elastically deform the rotation transmission member, thus applying a preset load.

Power transmission apparatus

An electric fuel pump includes a pump unit, motor unit, fuel discharge unit, stator holder, magnet wire, connection terminal, first mold resin, driver board assembly, and second mold resin. The fuel discharge unit includes a discharge port member and discharges fuel supplied from the pump unit through the motor unit. The stator holder is provided to the motor unit and includes a partition which defines the motor unit and the fuel discharge unit. The partition includes a terminal insertion hole and a fuel passage. The connection terminal is connected to the magnet wire. The driver board assembly is stored in a space formed in the discharge port member and electrically connected to the connection terminal. The second mold resin molds the driver board assembly and a connecting portion where the driver board assembly is connected to the connection terminal.

Electric fuel pump

In a power transmission apparatus, a torque limiter mechanism has a plurality of holding portions, a disc plate and a flange, and an elastic member. The plurality of holding portions are fixed to either one of a pulley and a hub and aligned substantially equidistantly in a circumferential direction. The disc plate and flange are provided to either one of the pulley and the hub and oppose the holding portions. The elastic member is frictionally connected to the holding portions and the disc plate and flange, and is fixed to the remaining one of the pulley and the hub. The elastic member has connecting portions and an elastic support. The connecting portions are frictionally connected to the holding portions and the disc plate and flange, and correspond in number to the holding portions. The elastic support is fixed to the remaining one of the pulley and the hub, and is imparted with an elastic restoration force for disengaging the connecting portions toward either one of upper and lower surfaces of the holding portions. The connecting portions and the holding portions, and the connecting portions and the disc plate and flange are frictionally connected to each other, and the elastic support is elastically deformed in an axial direction.
