There is provided an ink replenishment container for replenishing an ink by engaging with an engaging portion included in a printer. The ink replenishment container includes a cylindrical ink outlet, a wall disposed around the ink outlet outside the ink outlet in a radial direction around a central axis of the ink outlet and extending in an axial direction along the central axis, and a recess-and-projection portion disposed in at least one location of an outer peripheral surface of the ink outlet, an inner peripheral surface of the wall, and a space between the outer peripheral surface of the ink outlet and the inner peripheral surface of the wall, the recess-and-projection portion engaging with the engaging portion of the printer, in a state where the printer is replenished with the ink.

Ink replenishment container and printer

An ink refill container includes: a container body portion; an ink-outlet forming portion coupled to the container body portion and including a cylindrical portion having an ink outlet; a sealing member provided in the cylindrical portion and having an opening that enables insertion and removal of an ink introduction conduit; a valve member provided to be configured to come into contact with the sealing member; a spring member configured to urge the valve member toward the sealing member; and a valve holder holding at least the valve member and the spring member, and the valve holder includes an engagement portion configured to detachably engage at least one of the ink-outlet forming portion and the container body portion.

Ink refill container

An attachment that is detachably mounted to a cartridge mounting unit of a printing apparatus, the cartridge mounting unit including a liquid introduction portion that receives a liquid, and a restricting mechanism that restricts a rotation movement of an incompatible cartridge in a rotation mounting direction to be mounted by interfering with the incompatible cartridge, the attachment including a release portion that releases restriction by the restricting mechanism by pushing a part of the restricting mechanism in a pre-determined insertion direction, and a maintaining portion that maintains a mounted state of the attachment in cooperation with the cartridge mounting unit.

Attachment and printing system

A cartridge including a first guide rib and a second guide rib that extend in the Y direction and project outward in the X direction. In an attachment state in which a cap is attached to the cartridge, the cap includes a sealing wall having a liquid holding portion that faces the liquid supply portion, a first projecting rib projecting in a direction opposite to a projecting direction of the first guide rib, a second projecting rib projecting in a direction opposite to a projecting direction of the second guide rib, a first recessed portion that is formed between the sealing wall and the first projecting rib and accommodates the first guide rib, and a second recessed portion that is formed between the sealing wall and the second projecting rib and accommodates the second guide rib.

Cap and cartridge unit

A printer includes: a first ink tank; a second ink tank, both mounted on an X-Y plane; and a window that enables a liquid level of each of the first and second ink tanks to be visually checked from an outside of the printer, the window being disposed in an X-Z plane or a Y-Z plane. The X-Y plane, X-Z plane and Y-Z plane are defined by X-, Y-, and Z-axes, which are mutually orthogonal to. Each of the first and second ink tanks includes a first segment and a second segment, the first segment for arranging the first ink tank and the second ink tank side by side in a direction along the Y-axis, the second segment positioned out of alignment with the first segment in the X-axis direction. At least one of the first segment and the second segment has a visual check section facing the window.

Printer

A cartridge includes a first operation surface that receives a first load for moving the cartridge in an inserting direction, a main surface that constitutes a top surface positioned on a side of an upward direction in a direction of gravity in an inserted posture, a second operation surface that constitutes the top surface in an inserted posture and is positioned on a side of a downward direction in the direction of gravity with respect to the main surface and that receives a second load for moving the cartridge in a rotational-attachment direction, in which an angle formed by the second operation surface and the inserting direction is smaller than an angle formed by the first operation surface and the inserting direction.

Cartridge

A technique for preventing a decrease in an amount of liquid contained in a cartridge is provided. The cartridge includes a liquid containing portion and a liquid supply portion. The liquid supply portion is coupled to the liquid inlet portion due to rotational movement of a containing-portion-rear-wall side of the cartridge downward around a rotation fulcrum, which is located on the insertion direction side, of the cartridge mounting portion. In the insertion direction, a first distance between a liquid flowing-in port and a rear wall inner surface, which is an inner surface of a containing portion rear wall, is shorter than a second distance between the liquid flowing-in port and a front wall inner surface, which is an inner surface of a containing portion front wall.

Cartridge and printing system

An ink refill container for refilling a printer having an ink inlet flow-path member with ink includes: a container body portion configured to store ink; and an ink-outlet forming portion coupled to the container body portion and having a cylindrical portion forming an ink outlet. The ink-outlet forming portion includes a valve disposed in the cylindrical portion and configured to be opened by the ink inlet flow-path member inserted in the cylindrical portion, and closed by withdrawal of the ink inlet flow-path member from the cylindrical portion; a sealing member disposed at the ink outlet and configured to be in contact with the valve in a closed state of the valve; a holder member configured to hold at least one of the valve and the sealing member; and a fixing portion configured to fix the holder member to the cylindrical portion.

An amount of liquid that will be left in a cartridge without being consumed is reduced. The cartridge includes a liquid containing portion that contains the liquid; a front wall that is located on an insertion-direction side, an insertion direction being a direction of being inserted into the cartridge mounting portion; and a bottom wall that intersects the front wall and in which a liquid supply portion configured to be coupled to the liquid inlet portion is disposed.

Cartridge, printing system, and printing apparatus

A cartridge includes a liquid container and an adaptor. The liquid container has a liquid storage containing a liquid to be supplied to a printing apparatus, a liquid supply section configured to supply the liquid contained in the liquid storage to a liquid introduction section, and an adaptor mounting section. The adaptor is mounted on the adaptor mounting section and has a terminal placement section in which a cartridge-side terminal electrically connected to an apparatus-side terminal is disposed and an insertion aperture through which the liquid introduction section passes. The adaptor mounting section is provided with a mounting mechanism for mounting the adaptor, which has a predetermined constant shape.

Ink cartridge

There is provided an ink replenishment container for replenishing ink into an ink tank via an ink inlet flow path member, the ink replenishment container including a container main body, an ink outlet forming portion having a tubular portion, a spring valve having a valve body mounted in the tubular portion and a spring for urging the valve body toward the ink outlet, and a sealing member mounted in the tubular portion and having a sealing end configured to contact with the valve body in a valve close state, in which the sealing member has a cylindrical inner peripheral wall and an elastic membrane portion extending from the inner peripheral wall toward a center, and the elastic membrane portion is formed with a slit-shaped gap passing through a center portion including the center.

Ink replenishment container

There is provided an ink replenishment container for replenishing ink into an ink tank via an ink inlet flow path member having a plurality of flow paths, the ink replenishment container including a container main body, an ink outlet forming portion, and an outlet valve unit. The outlet valve unit includes a valve housing mounted to provide a gap with an inner peripheral surface of a tubular portion in the tubular portion, a sealing member, and a valve body movable between a valve close state in contact with the sealing member and a valve open state separated from the sealing member. The valve body has a partition contact portion capable of contacting a partition of the ink inlet flow path member. The valve housing has a through-hole that communicates with the gap, and the through-hole communicates with the ink inlet flow path member in the valve open state.

The cartridge includes a liquid containing portion containing a liquid, a liquid supply portion, an arrangement portion having a bottom wall in which an opening through which the liquid introduction portion is inserted is formed, and a film peelably attached to the arrangement portion while covering the opening portion, in which the arrangement portion further has a mounting element cooperating with the printing apparatus, and the film is arranged at a position where the film is interposed between the printing apparatus and the mounting element when a mounting process is performed in a state in which the film is attached to the arrangement portion.
