[Object] To improve the adhesion of a vapor-deposited film to a substrate. [Solution] A barrier film includes a substrate containing polyester and a vapor-deposited film containing aluminum oxide. At least the elemental bond of Al2O3 and the elemental bond of CN are detected by etching the barrier film using time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry from a side adjacent to the vapor-deposited film. The peak intensity of the peak of the elemental bond of CN detected at the interface between the substrate and the vapor-deposited film is 0.15 or more times the maximum intensity value of the elemental bond of Al2O3.

Barrier film, laminate, and packaging product

Provided is a barrier film which is less likely to undergo deterioration of gas barrier properties even after the Gelbo Flex test. The barrier film according to the present invention includes a barrier coat layer, an inorganic oxide vapor deposition layer, and a substrate layer in this order, the barrier coat layer being a cured film of a barrier coat composition containing: a hydrolyzed product of an alkoxysilane represented by the following General Formula (I): Si(OR). . . (I), wherein Rrepresents an organic functional group; a water-soluble polymer; and a hydrolyzed product of a silane coupling agent represented by the following General Formula (II): RSi(OR). . . (II), wherein Rand Reach independently represent an organic functional group, and n is 2 or 3.

Provided are: a laminate film which is equipped with a vapor-deposited aluminum oxide film exhibiting high barrier performance and excellent so-called retort resistance, and also exhibits favorable adhesion between the vapor-deposited aluminum oxide film and a plastic substrate even after undergoing a hydrothermal treatment; a barrier laminate film containing the laminate film; and a barrier packaging material which uses the barrier laminate film. A laminate film exhibiting improved adhesion strength and barrier performance, wherein: a transition region prescribing adhesion strength is formed between the surface of the substrate film and the vapor-deposited film which primarily comprises the formed vapor-deposited aluminum oxide film, by subjecting the vapor-deposited aluminum oxide film of the laminate film to a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) method using a Cs (cesium) ion gun; the transition region contains elementally bonded AlOH, which can be modified into aluminum hydroxide which can be detected by etching using TOF-SIMS; and the rate of modification in the transition region into aluminum hydroxide, which is defined as the ratio of the modified transition region to the vapor-deposited aluminum oxide film specified by carrying out etching using TOF-SIMS, is prescribed to be 5-60%, inclusive.

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a barrier resin film exhibiting excellent barrier properties without adopting a multilayer structure such as the structures used by the prior art. A gas barrier sheet improved in a gas barrier property and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A gas barrier sheet includes at least a base material and a gas barrier film provided on the base material which allows a ferromagnetic element to be present at the boundary of the gas barrier film on the side at which the gas barrier filmfaces the base material. The ferromagnetic element is preferably present in a scattered form, an island form or a thin film form at a boundary.

The powder mixture comprises 100 parts by weight of silicon oxide powder and 5 to 100 parts by weight of a conductive material powder. Preferably, both the silicon oxide powder and the conductive material powder have a mean particle diameter of 5 &#x3bc;m or less. The conductive material powder is preferably a powder of at least one material selected from metals and electrically conductive metallic oxides, nitrides and acid nitrides. Still more, there is provided a barrier film provided with a barrier layer on at least one surface of a substrate film, has a composition wherein the barrier layer is a silicon oxi-nitride film, and the silicon oxi-nitride film has an atomic ratio in a range of Si:O:N:C=100:60 to 90:60 to 90:20 to 40, a maximum peak of infrared-ray absorption due to Si&#x2014;O stretching vibration and Si&#x2014;N stretching vibration is in a range of 820 to 930 cm, a film density is in a range of 2.9 to 3.2 g/cm, and a distance between grains is 30 nm or shorter.
